12 By|strong="G2532" doing this|strong="G3588", these|strong="G3588" Jews upset the|strong="G3588" people|strong="G2992", the|strong="G3588" older|strong="G4245" Jewish leaders, and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" teachers of|strong="G2992" the|strong="G3588" law. They|strong="G0846" became so|strong="G2532" angry that|strong="G0846" they|strong="G0846" came|strong="G2186" and|strong="G2532" grabbed Stephen|strong="G0846" and|strong="G2532" took|strong="G0071" him|strong="G0846" to|strong="G1519" a|strong="G2532" meeting of|strong="G2992" the|strong="G3588" high council|strong="G4892".

These|strong="G3778" men|strong="G0444" said|strong="G3004", “This|strong="G3778" man|strong="G0444" is|strong="G3778" always saying|strong="G3004" things|strong="G3778" against|strong="G2596" this|strong="G3778" holy|strong="G0040" place|strong="G5117" and|strong="G2532" against|strong="G2596" the|strong="G3588" Law|strong="G3551" of|strong="G3551" Moses.
