2 But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G3753" Peter|strong="G4074" came|strong="G0305" to|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2419", some|strong="G1537" Jewish believers argued with|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846".

I|strong="G3739" saw|strong="G3708" all|strong="G3588" kinds of|strong="G1093" animals|strong="G5074", including|strong="G3739" wild|strong="G2342" ones, as|strong="G1519" well|strong="G2532" as|strong="G1519" reptiles|strong="G2062" and|strong="G2532" birds|strong="G4071".
7 I|strong="G1473" heard|strong="G0191" a|strong="G0191" voice|strong="G5456" say|strong="G3004" to|strong="G3004" me|strong="G3004", ‘Get|strong="G0450" up|strong="G0450", Peter|strong="G4074". Kill|strong="G2380" anything|strong="G5315" here and|strong="G2532" eat|strong="G2068" it|strong="G0191"!’
8 “But|strong="G1161" I|strong="G1473" said|strong="G3004", ‘I|strong="G1473" can’t do|strong="G3004" that|strong="G3754", Lord|strong="G2962"! I|strong="G1473" have|strong="G3748" never|strong="G3763" eaten anything that|strong="G3754" is|strong="G2962" not|strong="G1473" pure or|strong="G2228" fit to|strong="G1519" be|strong="G2962" used for|strong="G1519" food.’
9 “But|strong="G1161" the|strong="G3588" voice|strong="G5456" from|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772" answered|strong="G0611" again, ‘God|strong="G2316" has|strong="G2316" made|strong="G0611" these|strong="G3739" things|strong="G3739" pure. Don’t|strong="G3361" say they|strong="G3739" are|strong="G3739" unfit to|strong="G1537" eat!’
10 “This|strong="G3778" happened|strong="G1096" three|strong="G5151" times|strong="G5151". Then|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" whole|strong="G0537" thing|strong="G3778" was|strong="G3588" taken|strong="G1096" back|strong="G3825" into|strong="G1519" heaven|strong="G3772".
11 Suddenly|strong="G2400" there|strong="G1510" were|strong="G1510" three|strong="G5140" men|strong="G0435" standing|strong="G2186" outside the|strong="G3588" house|strong="G3614" where|strong="G3739" I|strong="G1473" was|strong="G1510" staying. 14 He|strong="G2532" will|strong="G3739" speak|strong="G2980" to|strong="G4314" you|strong="G4771", and|strong="G2532" what|strong="G3739" he|strong="G2532" tells you|strong="G4771" will|strong="G3739" save|strong="G4982" you|strong="G4771" and|strong="G2532" everyone|strong="G3956" living in|strong="G1722" your|strong="G2532" house|strong="G3624".’

19 The|strong="G3588" believers were|strong="G2453" scattered|strong="G1289" by|strong="G0575" the|strong="G3588" persecution|strong="G2347" that|strong="G1096" began|strong="G1096" when|strong="G2532" Stephen|strong="G4736" was|strong="G3588" killed. 20 Some|strong="G5100" of|strong="G1537" these|strong="G3748" believers were|strong="G1510" men|strong="G0435" from|strong="G1537" Cyprus|strong="G2953" and|strong="G2532" Cyrene|strong="G2956". When|strong="G2532" these|strong="G3748" men|strong="G0435" came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1519" Antioch|strong="G0490", they|strong="G0846" began speaking|strong="G2980" to|strong="G1519" people|strong="G0846" who|strong="G3588" were|strong="G1510" not|strong="G1510" Jews. They|strong="G0846" told|strong="G2980" them|strong="G0846" the|strong="G3588" Good|strong="G2097" News|strong="G2097" about|strong="G1519" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424".
21 The|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" was|strong="G1510" helping these|strong="G3588" men|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" a|strong="G1510" large|strong="G4183" number|strong="G0706" of|strong="G2962" people|strong="G0846" believed|strong="G4100" and|strong="G2532" decided to|strong="G1909" follow the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962".
22 When|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" church|strong="G1577" in|strong="G1722" Jerusalem|strong="G2419" heard|strong="G0191" about|strong="G4012" this|strong="G3588", they|strong="G0846" sent|strong="G1821" Barnabas|strong="G0921" to|strong="G1519" Antioch|strong="G0490".
25 Then|strong="G2532" Barnabas went|strong="G1831" to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" city of|strong="G1519" Tarsus|strong="G5019" to|strong="G1519" look|strong="G0327" for|strong="G1519" Saul|strong="G4569".

It|strong="G0846" was|strong="G3588" in|strong="G1722" Antioch|strong="G0490" that|strong="G1096" the|strong="G3588" followers of|strong="G1577" the|strong="G3588" Lord Jesus|strong="G0846" were|strong="G3793" called|strong="G5537" “Christ-followers” for|strong="G1519" the|strong="G3588" first|strong="G4413" time|strong="G4413".
27 About|strong="G1722" that|strong="G3778" same|strong="G3778" time|strong="G2250" some|strong="G3588" prophets|strong="G4396" went|strong="G2718" from|strong="G0575" Jerusalem|strong="G2414" to|strong="G1519" Antioch|strong="G0490".
28 One|strong="G1520" of|strong="G1537" them|strong="G0846", named|strong="G3686" Agabus|strong="G0013", stood|strong="G0450" up|strong="G0450" and|strong="G1161" spoke with|strong="G1537" the|strong="G3588" help of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G3588" Spirit|strong="G4151". He|strong="G0846" said|strong="G1096", “A|strong="G1096" very|strong="G0846" bad time|strong="G1909" is|strong="G1510" coming|strong="G1096" to|strong="G1909" the|strong="G3588" whole|strong="G3650" world|strong="G3625". 30 They|strong="G3739" gathered the|strong="G3588" money and|strong="G2532" gave|strong="G4160" it|strong="G4160" to|strong="G4314" Barnabas|strong="G0921" and|strong="G2532" Saul|strong="G4569", who|strong="G3739" took|strong="G4160" it|strong="G4160" to|strong="G4314" the|strong="G3588" elders|strong="G4245" in|strong="G2532" Judea.
