7 by|strong="G1722" speaking|strong="G3056" the|strong="G3588" truth|strong="G0225", and|strong="G2532" by|strong="G1722" depending on|strong="G1722" God’s|strong="G2316" power|strong="G1411". This|strong="G3588" right|strong="G1188" way|strong="G1722" of|strong="G3056" living has|strong="G2316" prepared us|strong="G1722" to|strong="G2532" defend ourselves against|strong="G1722" every kind of|strong="G3056" attack.
8 Some|strong="G5613" people honor|strong="G1391" us, but|strong="G2532" others shame|strong="G0819" us. Some|strong="G5613" people say|strong="G1223" good|strong="G2162" things about|strong="G5613" us, but|strong="G2532" others say|strong="G1223" bad things. Some|strong="G5613" people say|strong="G1223" we|strong="G2532" are|strong="G2532" liars, but|strong="G2532" we|strong="G2532" speak the|strong="G1223" truth|strong="G0227".
9 To|strong="G2532" some|strong="G5613" people|strong="G3361" we|strong="G2532" are|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3361" known|strong="G1921", but|strong="G2532" we|strong="G2532" are|strong="G2532" well|strong="G2532" known|strong="G1921". We|strong="G2532" seem to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" dying|strong="G0599", but|strong="G2532" look|strong="G2400"! We|strong="G2532" continue|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" live|strong="G2198". We|strong="G2532" are|strong="G2532" punished|strong="G3811", but|strong="G2532" we|strong="G2532" are|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3361" killed.
10 We|strong="G2532" have|strong="G2192" much|strong="G4183" sadness|strong="G3076", but|strong="G1161" we|strong="G2532" are|strong="G3956" always|strong="G0104" rejoicing|strong="G5463".
