2 and|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" was|strong="G1096" transfigured|strong="G3339" before|strong="G1715" them|strong="G3588"; and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G2532" face|strong="G4383" did|strong="G2532" shine|strong="G2989" as|strong="G5613" the|strong="G2532" sun|strong="G2246", and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G2532" garments|strong="G2440" became|strong="G1096" white|strong="G3022" as|strong="G5613" the|strong="G2532" light|strong="G5457".
3 And|strong="G2532" behold|strong="G2400", there|strong="G2532" appeared|strong="G3708" unto|strong="G2532" them|strong="G3708" Moses|strong="G3475" and|strong="G2532" Elijah|strong="G2243" talking|strong="G4814" with|strong="G3326" him|strong="G3708".
4 And|strong="G2532" Peter|strong="G4074" answered|strong="G3004", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" Jesus|strong="G2424", Lord|strong="G2962", it|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" good|strong="G2570" for|strong="G1161" us|strong="G3004" to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1510" here|strong="G5602": if|strong="G1487" thou|strong="G4771" wilt|strong="G2309", let|strong="G1161" us|strong="G3004" make|strong="G4160" here|strong="G5602" three|strong="G5140" tabernacles|strong="G4633"; one|strong="G1520" for|strong="G1161" thee, and|strong="G2532" one|strong="G1520" for|strong="G1161" Moses|strong="G3475", and|strong="G2532" one|strong="G1520" for|strong="G1161" Elijah|strong="G2243".
5 While|strong="G1722" he|strong="G2532" was|strong="G1510" yet|strong="G2089" speaking|strong="G2980", behold|strong="G2400", a|strong="G2532" bright|strong="G5460" cloud|strong="G3507" overshadowed|strong="G1982" them|strong="G3588": and|strong="G2532" behold|strong="G2400", a|strong="G2532" voice|strong="G5456" out|strong="G1537" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G1722" cloud|strong="G3507", saying|strong="G3004", This|strong="G3778" is|strong="G1510" my|strong="G3708" beloved Son|strong="G5207", in|strong="G1722" whom|strong="G3739" I|strong="G1473" am|strong="G1510" well|strong="G2532" pleased|strong="G2106"; hear|strong="G5456" ye|strong="G3739" him|strong="G3588".
6 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" disciples|strong="G3101" heard it|strong="G2532", they|strong="G2532" fell|strong="G4098" on|strong="G1909" their|strong="G2532" face|strong="G4383", and|strong="G2532" were|strong="G3588" sore|strong="G4970" afraid|strong="G5399".
7 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" came|strong="G4334" and|strong="G2532" touched them|strong="G3588" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", Arise|strong="G1453", and|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3361" afraid|strong="G5399".
8 And|strong="G1161" lifting|strong="G1869" up|strong="G1869" their|strong="G3588" eyes|strong="G3788", they|strong="G1161" saw|strong="G3708" no|strong="G3762" one|strong="G3762", save|strong="G1487" Jesus|strong="G2424" only|strong="G3440".
9 And|strong="G2532" as|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" were|strong="G3588" coming|strong="G2597" down|strong="G2597" from|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" mountain|strong="G3735", Jesus|strong="G2424" commanded|strong="G1781" them|strong="G3588", saying|strong="G3004", Tell|strong="G3004" the|strong="G2532" vision|strong="G3705" to|strong="G2532" no|strong="G3367" man|strong="G3367", until|strong="G2193" the|strong="G2532" Son|strong="G5207" of|strong="G1537" man|strong="G3367" be|strong="G2532" risen|strong="G1453" from|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" dead|strong="G3498".
10 And|strong="G2532" his|strong="G2532" disciples|strong="G3101" asked|strong="G1905" him|strong="G3588", saying|strong="G3004", Why|strong="G5101" then|strong="G3767" say|strong="G3004" the|strong="G2532" scribes|strong="G1122" that|strong="G3754" Elijah|strong="G2243" must|strong="G1163" first|strong="G4413" come|strong="G2064"?
11 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G3004" answered|strong="G3004" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" them|strong="G3588", Elijah|strong="G2243" indeed|strong="G2532" cometh|strong="G2064" first|strong="G3588", and|strong="G2532" shall|strong="G2532" restore all|strong="G3956" things|strong="G3956":
12 but|strong="G1161" I|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" you|strong="G5210", that|strong="G3754" Elijah|strong="G2243" is|strong="G3588" come|strong="G2064" already|strong="G2235", and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" knew|strong="G1921" him|strong="G3588" not|strong="G3756", but|strong="G1161" did|strong="G4160" unto|strong="G3004" him|strong="G3588" whatsoever|strong="G3745" they|strong="G2532" would|strong="G2309". Even|strong="G2532" so|strong="G3779" shall|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" Son|strong="G5207" of|strong="G5207" man|strong="G3756" also|strong="G2532" suffer|strong="G3958" of|strong="G5207" them|strong="G3588".
13 Then|strong="G5119" understood|strong="G4920" the|strong="G3588" disciples|strong="G3101" that|strong="G3754" he|strong="G3754" spake|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" them|strong="G3588" of|strong="G4012" John|strong="G2491" the|strong="G3588" Baptist.
14 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" were|strong="G3588" come|strong="G2064" to|strong="G4314" the|strong="G2532" multitude|strong="G3793", there|strong="G2532" came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G4314" him|strong="G3588" a|strong="G2532" man, kneeling|strong="G2532" to|strong="G4314" him|strong="G3588",
15 and|strong="G2532" saying|strong="G3004", Lord|strong="G2962", have|strong="G2532" mercy|strong="G1653" on|strong="G1519" my|strong="G1473" son|strong="G5207": for|strong="G1063" he|strong="G2532" is|strong="G3588" epileptic, and|strong="G2532" suffereth grievously|strong="G2560"; for|strong="G1063" ofttimes|strong="G4178" he|strong="G2532" falleth|strong="G4098" into|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" fire|strong="G4442", and|strong="G2532" ofttimes|strong="G4178" into|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" water|strong="G5204".
16 And|strong="G2532" I|strong="G2532" brought|strong="G4374" him|strong="G3588" to|strong="G2532" thy|strong="G3588" disciples|strong="G3101", and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" could|strong="G1410" not|strong="G3756" cure|strong="G2323" him|strong="G3588".
17 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" answered|strong="G3004" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", O|strong="G5599" faithless and|strong="G2532" perverse|strong="G1294" generation|strong="G1074", how|strong="G2193" long|strong="G2193" shall|strong="G2532" I|strong="G1473" be|strong="G1510" with|strong="G3326" you|strong="G5210"? how|strong="G2193" long|strong="G2193" shall|strong="G2532" I|strong="G1473" bear|strong="G5342" with|strong="G3326" you|strong="G5210"? bring|strong="G5342" him|strong="G3588" hither|strong="G5602" to|strong="G2532" me|strong="G1473".
18 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" rebuked|strong="G2008" him|strong="G3588"; and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" demon|strong="G1140" went|strong="G1831" out|strong="G1831" of|strong="G2532" him|strong="G3588": and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" boy|strong="G3816" was|strong="G3588" cured|strong="G2323" from|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3588" hour|strong="G5610".
19 Then|strong="G5119" came|strong="G4334" the|strong="G1223" disciples|strong="G3101" to|strong="G2596" Jesus|strong="G2424" apart|strong="G2398", and|strong="G4334" said|strong="G3004", Why|strong="G5101" could|strong="G1410" not|strong="G3756" we|strong="G2249" cast|strong="G1544" it|strong="G5101" out|strong="G1544"?
20 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G3004" said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" them|strong="G3588", Because|strong="G1223" of|strong="G1223" your|strong="G1223" unbelief: for|strong="G1063" verily|strong="G1063" I|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" you|strong="G5210", If|strong="G1437" ye|strong="G5210" have|strong="G2192" faith|strong="G4102" as|strong="G5613" a|strong="G2192" grain|strong="G2848" of|strong="G1223" mustard|strong="G4615" seed|strong="G2848", ye|strong="G5210" shall|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" this|strong="G3778" mountain|strong="G3735", Remove|strong="G3327" hence|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" yonder|strong="G1563" place|strong="G1563"; and|strong="G2532" it|strong="G2532" shall|strong="G2532" remove|strong="G3327"; and|strong="G2532" nothing|strong="G3762" shall|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" impossible unto|strong="G3004" you|strong="G5210".
21 But this kind goeth not out save by prayer and fasting.
22 And|strong="G1161" while|strong="G1722" they|strong="G1161" abode in|strong="G1722" Galilee|strong="G1056", Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" them|strong="G3588", The|strong="G1722" Son|strong="G5207" of|strong="G5207" man|strong="G1519" shall|strong="G3195" be|strong="G3195" delivered|strong="G3860" up|strong="G3860" into|strong="G1519" the|strong="G1722" hands|strong="G5495" of|strong="G5207" men|strong="G3588";
23 and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" shall|strong="G2532" kill him|strong="G3588", and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" third|strong="G5154" day|strong="G2250" he|strong="G2532" shall|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" raised|strong="G1453" up|strong="G1453". And|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" were|strong="G3588" exceeding|strong="G4970" sorry|strong="G3076".
24 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G1161" they|strong="G2532" were|strong="G3588" come|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1519" Capernaum|strong="G2584", they|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3588" received|strong="G2983" the|strong="G2532" half-shekel came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1519" Peter|strong="G4074", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", Doth|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3756" your|strong="G2532" teacher|strong="G1320" pay|strong="G5055" the|strong="G2532" half-shekel?
25 He|strong="G2532" saith|strong="G3004", Yea|strong="G3483". And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" came|strong="G2064" into|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" house|strong="G3614", Jesus|strong="G2424" spake|strong="G3004" first|strong="G3588" to|strong="G1519" him|strong="G3588", saying|strong="G3004", What|strong="G5101" thinkest|strong="G1380" thou|strong="G4771", Simon|strong="G4613"? the|strong="G2532" kings|strong="G3588" of|strong="G5207" the|strong="G2532" earth|strong="G1093", from|strong="G2064" whom|strong="G5101" do|strong="G5101" they|strong="G2532" receive|strong="G2983" toll or|strong="G2228" tribute|strong="G2778"? from|strong="G2064" their|strong="G2532" sons|strong="G5207", or|strong="G2228" from|strong="G2064" strangers?
26 Peter saith|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" him|strong="G3588", From|strong="G3588" strangers. Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" him|strong="G3588", Therefore|strong="G1161" the|strong="G1161" sons|strong="G5207" are|strong="G1510" free|strong="G1658".
27 But|strong="G1161", lest|strong="G3361" we|strong="G2532" cause|strong="G4624" them|strong="G3588" to|strong="G1519" stumble|strong="G4624", go|strong="G4198" thou|strong="G4771" to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" sea|strong="G2281", and|strong="G2532" cast|strong="G2532" a|strong="G2532" hook, and|strong="G2532" take|strong="G2983" up|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" fish|strong="G2486" that|strong="G2443" first|strong="G4413" cometh up|strong="G1519"; and|strong="G2532" when|strong="G1161" thou|strong="G4771" hast|strong="G2532" opened his|strong="G1438" mouth|strong="G4750", thou|strong="G4771" shalt|strong="G2532" find|strong="G2147" a|strong="G2532" shekel|strong="G4715": that|strong="G2443" take|strong="G2983", and|strong="G2532" give|strong="G1325" unto|strong="G1519" them|strong="G3588" for|strong="G1519" me|strong="G1325" and|strong="G2532" thee|strong="G2983".
