2 And|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" scribes|strong="G1122" murmured|strong="G1234", saying|strong="G3004", This|strong="G3778" man|strong="G3778" receiveth|strong="G4327" sinners, and|strong="G2532" eateth|strong="G4906" with|strong="G2532" them|strong="G3588".
3 And|strong="G1161" he|strong="G1161" spake|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G4314" them|strong="G3588" this|strong="G3778" parable|strong="G3850", saying|strong="G3004",

12 and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" younger|strong="G3501" of|strong="G2532" them|strong="G3588" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G2532" his|strong="G2532" father|strong="G3962", Father|strong="G3962", give|strong="G1325" me|strong="G1325" the|strong="G2532" portion|strong="G3313" of|strong="G2532" thy substance|strong="G3776" that|strong="G3588" falleth to|strong="G2532" me|strong="G1325". 13 And|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3756" many|strong="G4183" days|strong="G2250" after|strong="G3326", the|strong="G2532" younger|strong="G3501" son|strong="G5207" gathered|strong="G4863" all|strong="G3956" together|strong="G4863" and|strong="G2532" took|strong="G2532" his|strong="G3956" journey into|strong="G1519" a|strong="G2532" far|strong="G3588" country|strong="G5561"; and|strong="G2532" there|strong="G1563" he|strong="G2532" wasted|strong="G1287" his|strong="G3956" substance|strong="G3776" with|strong="G3326" riotous living|strong="G2198".
14 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G1161" he|strong="G2532" had|strong="G2532" spent|strong="G1159" all|strong="G3956", there|strong="G2532" arose|strong="G1096" a|strong="G1096" mighty|strong="G2478" famine|strong="G3042" in|strong="G2596" that|strong="G3588" country|strong="G5561"; and|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" began|strong="G1096" to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1096" in|strong="G2596" want.
15 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" went|strong="G4198" and|strong="G2532" joined|strong="G2853" himself|strong="G1565" to|strong="G1519" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" citizens|strong="G4177" of|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3588" country|strong="G5561"; and|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" sent|strong="G3992" him|strong="G3588" into|strong="G1519" his|strong="G1519" fields|strong="G5561" to|strong="G1519" feed|strong="G1006" swine|strong="G5519".
16 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" would|strong="G2532" fain have|strong="G2532" filled|strong="G1072" his|strong="G2532" belly|strong="G2836" with|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" husks that|strong="G3739" the|strong="G2532" swine|strong="G5519" did|strong="G2532" eat|strong="G2068": and|strong="G2532" no|strong="G3762" man|strong="G3762" gave|strong="G1325" unto|strong="G1325" him|strong="G3588".
17 But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G1161" he|strong="G1161" came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1519" himself|strong="G1438" he|strong="G1161" said|strong="G5346", How|strong="G4214" many|strong="G4214" hired|strong="G3407" servants of|strong="G3962" my|strong="G1473" father|strong="G3962"’s have|strong="G1473" bread enough|strong="G4052" and|strong="G1161" to|strong="G1519" spare, and|strong="G1161" I|strong="G1473" perish with|strong="G1519" hunger|strong="G3042"!
18 I|strong="G1473" will|strong="G2532" arise and|strong="G2532" go|strong="G4198" to|strong="G1519" my|strong="G1473" father|strong="G3962", and|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G3588", Father|strong="G3962", I|strong="G1473" have|strong="G2532" sinned against|strong="G4314" heaven|strong="G3772", and|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1519" thy|strong="G3588" sight|strong="G1799":
19 and|strong="G4160" I|strong="G1473" am|strong="G1510" no|strong="G3765" more|strong="G3765" worthy to|strong="G4160" be|strong="G1510" called|strong="G2564" thy|strong="G3588" son|strong="G5207": make|strong="G4160" me|strong="G1473" as|strong="G5613" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G5207" thy|strong="G3588" hired|strong="G3407" servants.
20 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" arose, and|strong="G2532" came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G4314" his|strong="G1438" father|strong="G3962". But|strong="G1161" while|strong="G1161" he|strong="G2532" was|strong="G3588" yet|strong="G2089" afar|strong="G3588" off|strong="G3112", his|strong="G1438" father|strong="G3962" saw|strong="G3708" him|strong="G3588", and|strong="G2532" was|strong="G3588" moved|strong="G4697" with|strong="G4314" compassion|strong="G4697", and|strong="G2532" ran|strong="G5143", and|strong="G2532" fell|strong="G1968" on|strong="G1909" his|strong="G1438" neck|strong="G5137", and|strong="G2532" kissed|strong="G2705" him|strong="G3588".
21 And|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" son|strong="G5207" said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" him|strong="G3588", Father|strong="G3962", I|strong="G2532" have|strong="G2532" sinned against|strong="G1519" heaven|strong="G3772", and|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1519" thy|strong="G3588" sight|strong="G1799": and|strong="G2532" I|strong="G2532" am|strong="G1510" no|strong="G3765" more|strong="G3765" worthy to|strong="G1519" be|strong="G1510" called|strong="G2564" thy|strong="G3588" son|strong="G5207".
22 But|strong="G1161" the|strong="G2532" father|strong="G3962" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G1519" his|strong="G1519" servants|strong="G1401", Bring|strong="G2532" forth|strong="G1627" the|strong="G2532" best|strong="G4413" robe|strong="G4749", and|strong="G2532" put|strong="G1746" it|strong="G2532" on|strong="G1519" him|strong="G3588"; and|strong="G2532" put|strong="G1746" a|strong="G2532" ring|strong="G1146" on|strong="G1519" his|strong="G1519" hand|strong="G5495", and|strong="G2532" shoes|strong="G5266" on|strong="G1519" his|strong="G1519" feet|strong="G4228":
23 and|strong="G2532" bring|strong="G5342" the|strong="G2532" fatted calf|strong="G3448", and kill|strong="G2380" it|strong="G2532", and|strong="G2532" let|strong="G2532" us eat|strong="G2068", and|strong="G2532" make|strong="G2532" merry|strong="G2165":
24 for|strong="G3754" this|strong="G3778" my|strong="G1473" son|strong="G5207" was|strong="G1510" dead|strong="G3498", and|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" alive again|strong="G2532"; and|strong="G2532" was|strong="G1510" lost, and|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" found|strong="G2147". And|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" began to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1510" merry|strong="G2165".
25 Now|strong="G1161" his|strong="G1722" elder|strong="G4245" son|strong="G5207" was|strong="G1510" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" field: and|strong="G2532" as|strong="G5613" he|strong="G2532" came|strong="G2064" and|strong="G2532" drew|strong="G2532" nigh|strong="G1448" to|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" house|strong="G3614", he|strong="G2532" heard music|strong="G4858" and|strong="G2532" dancing|strong="G5525".
26 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" called|strong="G4341" to|strong="G2532" him|strong="G3588" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" servants|strong="G3816", and|strong="G2532" inquired|strong="G4441" what|strong="G5101" these|strong="G3778" things|strong="G3778" might|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1510".
27 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" him|strong="G3588", Thy|strong="G3588" brother is|strong="G3588" come|strong="G2240"; and|strong="G2532" thy|strong="G3588" father|strong="G3962" hath|strong="G2532" killed|strong="G2380" the|strong="G2532" fatted calf|strong="G3448", because|strong="G3754" he|strong="G2532" hath|strong="G2532" received him|strong="G3588" safe|strong="G5198" and|strong="G2532" sound|strong="G5198".
28 But|strong="G1161" he|strong="G2532" was|strong="G3588" angry|strong="G3710", and|strong="G2532" would|strong="G2309" not|strong="G3756" go|strong="G1831" in|strong="G1525": therefore|strong="G1161" his|strong="G2532" father|strong="G3962" came|strong="G1831" out|strong="G1831", and|strong="G2532" entreated him|strong="G3588".

31 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" him|strong="G3588", Son|strong="G5043", thou|strong="G4771" art|strong="G4771" ever|strong="G3842" with|strong="G3326" me|strong="G1473", and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" that|strong="G3588" is|strong="G1510" mine|strong="G1699" is|strong="G1510" thine|strong="G4674".
32 But|strong="G1161" it|strong="G2532" was|strong="G1510" meet|strong="G3588" to|strong="G2532" make|strong="G2532" merry|strong="G2165" and|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1510" glad|strong="G5463": for|strong="G3754" this|strong="G3778" thy|strong="G3588" brother was|strong="G1510" dead|strong="G3498", and|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" alive|strong="G2198" again|strong="G2532"; and|strong="G2532" was|strong="G1510" lost, and|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" found|strong="G2147".
