2 And|strong="H1121" he|strong="H8033" said, Take|strong="H3947" now|strong="H4994" thy|strong="H3947" son|strong="H1121", thine only|strong="H3173" son|strong="H1121", whom thou|strong="H3212" lovest, even|strong="H5921" Isaac|strong="H3327", and|strong="H1121" get|strong="H3947" thee|strong="H3947" into|strong="H5927" the|strong="H5921" land of|strong="H1121" Moriah|strong="H4179"; and|strong="H1121" offer|strong="H5927" him|strong="H5921" there|strong="H8033" for|strong="H5921" a|strong="H3068" burnt|strong="H5930" offering|strong="H5930" upon|strong="H5921" one|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H5921" mountains|strong="H2022" which|strong="H8033" I|strong="H5921" will|strong="H1121" tell|strong="H4994" thee|strong="H3947" of|strong="H1121".
3 And|strong="H1121" Abraham|strong="H3947" rose|strong="H6965" early|strong="H7925" in|strong="H3212" the|strong="H3947" morning|strong="H1242", and|strong="H1121" saddled|strong="H2280" his|strong="H3947" ass|strong="H2543", and|strong="H1121" took|strong="H3947" two|strong="H8147" of|strong="H1121" his|strong="H3947" young|strong="H5288" men|strong="H5288" with|strong="H3212" him|strong="H3947", and|strong="H1121" Isaac|strong="H3327" his|strong="H3947" son|strong="H1121"; and|strong="H1121" he|strong="H8147" clave|strong="H1234" the|strong="H3947" wood|strong="H6086" for|strong="H6086" the|strong="H3947" burnt|strong="H5930" offering|strong="H5930", and|strong="H1121" rose|strong="H6965" up|strong="H6965", and|strong="H1121" went|strong="H3212" unto|strong="H3212" the|strong="H3947" place|strong="H4725" of|strong="H1121" which|strong="H6086" God had|strong="H3327" told him|strong="H3947".
4 On|strong="H3117" the|strong="H7200" third|strong="H7992" day|strong="H3117" Abraham|strong="H5375" lifted|strong="H5375" up|strong="H5375" his|strong="H5375" eyes|strong="H5869", and|strong="H3117" saw|strong="H7200" the|strong="H7200" place|strong="H4725" afar|strong="H7350" off|strong="H7350".
5 And|strong="H7725" Abraham said unto|strong="H7725" his|strong="H7725" young|strong="H5288" men|strong="H5288", Abide|strong="H3427" ye|strong="H3427" here|strong="H6311" with|strong="H5973" the|strong="H3541" ass|strong="H2543", and|strong="H7725" I|strong="H5704" and|strong="H7725" the|strong="H3541" lad|strong="H5288" will|strong="H5288" go|strong="H3212" yonder|strong="H3541"; and|strong="H7725" we|strong="H3068" will|strong="H5288" worship|strong="H7812", and|strong="H7725" come|strong="H3212" again|strong="H7725" to|strong="H5704" you|strong="H5704".
6 And|strong="H1121" Abraham|strong="H3947" took|strong="H3947" the|strong="H5921" wood|strong="H6086" of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H5921" burnt|strong="H5930" offering|strong="H5930", and|strong="H1121" laid|strong="H7760" it|strong="H7760" upon|strong="H5921" Isaac|strong="H3327" his|strong="H7760" son|strong="H1121"; and|strong="H1121" he|strong="H8147" took|strong="H3947" in|strong="H5921" his|strong="H7760" hand|strong="H3027" the|strong="H5921" fire and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H5921" knife|strong="H3979"; and|strong="H1121" they|strong="H5921" went|strong="H3212" both|strong="H8147" of|strong="H1121" them|strong="H5921" together|strong="H3162".
7 And|strong="H1121" Isaac|strong="H3327" spake unto|strong="H1121" Abraham his|strong="H3327" father|strong="H1121", and|strong="H1121" said, My father|strong="H1121": and|strong="H1121" he|strong="H2009" said, Here|strong="H2009" am I|strong="H2009", my son|strong="H1121". And|strong="H1121" he|strong="H2009" said, Behold|strong="H2009", the|strong="H2009" fire and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H2009" wood|strong="H6086": but|strong="H2009" where|strong="H2009" is|strong="H2009" the|strong="H2009" lamb|strong="H7716" for|strong="H6086" a|strong="H3068" burnt|strong="H5930" offering|strong="H5930"?
8 And|strong="H1121" Abraham said, God will|strong="H1121" provide|strong="H7200" himself the|strong="H7200" lamb|strong="H7716" for|strong="H1121" a|strong="H3068" burnt|strong="H5930" offering|strong="H5930", my|strong="H7200" son|strong="H1121": so|strong="H7200" they|strong="H5930" went|strong="H3212" both|strong="H8147" of|strong="H1121" them|strong="H7200" together|strong="H3162".
9 And|strong="H1121" they|strong="H8033" came to|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" place|strong="H4725" which|strong="H8033" God had|strong="H3327" told|strong="H7760" him|strong="H5921" of|strong="H1121"; and|strong="H1121" Abraham built|strong="H1129" the|strong="H5921" altar|strong="H4196" there|strong="H8033", and|strong="H1121" laid|strong="H7760" the|strong="H5921" wood|strong="H6086" in|strong="H5921" order|strong="H6186", and|strong="H1121" bound|strong="H6123" Isaac|strong="H3327" his|strong="H7760" son|strong="H1121", and|strong="H1121" laid|strong="H7760" him|strong="H5921" on|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" altar|strong="H4196", upon|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" wood|strong="H6086".
10 And|strong="H1121" Abraham|strong="H3947" stretched|strong="H7971" forth|strong="H7971" his|strong="H7971" hand|strong="H3027", and|strong="H1121" took|strong="H3947" the|strong="H3947" knife|strong="H3979" to|strong="H7971" slay|strong="H7819" his|strong="H7971" son|strong="H1121".
11 And|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" angel|strong="H4397" of|strong="H3068" Jehovah|strong="H3068" called|strong="H7121" unto|strong="H3068" him|strong="H7121" out|strong="H4480" of|strong="H3068" heaven|strong="H8064", and|strong="H3068" said|strong="H7121", Abraham, Abraham: and|strong="H3068" he|strong="H3068" said|strong="H7121", Here|strong="H2009" am|strong="H3068" I|strong="H2009".
12 And|strong="H1121" he|strong="H3588" said, Lay|strong="H7971" not|strong="H3808" thy|strong="H3045" hand|strong="H3027" upon|strong="H3027" the|strong="H3588" lad|strong="H5288", neither|strong="H3808" do|strong="H6213" thou|strong="H3045" anything|strong="H3972" unto|strong="H6213" him|strong="H7971"; for|strong="H3588" now|strong="H6258" I|strong="H3588" know|strong="H3045" that|strong="H3588" thou|strong="H3045" fearest|strong="H3373" God|strong="H3808", seeing|strong="H3588" thou|strong="H3045" hast|strong="H3045" not|strong="H3808" withheld|strong="H2820" thy|strong="H3045" son|strong="H1121", thine|strong="H7971" only|strong="H3173" son|strong="H1121", from|strong="H4480" me|strong="H7971".
13 And|strong="H1121" Abraham|strong="H3947" lifted|strong="H5375" up|strong="H5927" his|strong="H5375" eyes|strong="H5869", and|strong="H1121" looked|strong="H7200", and|strong="H1121", behold|strong="H2009", behind him a|strong="H3068" ram caught|strong="H3947" in|strong="H3212" the|strong="H7200" thicket|strong="H5442" by|strong="H5927" his|strong="H5375" horns|strong="H7161": and|strong="H1121" Abraham|strong="H3947" went|strong="H3212" and|strong="H1121" took|strong="H3947" the|strong="H7200" ram, and|strong="H1121" offered|strong="H5927" him|strong="H7200" up|strong="H5927" for|strong="H8478" a|strong="H3068" burnt|strong="H5930" offering|strong="H5930" in|strong="H3212" the|strong="H7200" stead|strong="H8478" of|strong="H1121" his|strong="H5375" son|strong="H1121".
14 And|strong="H3068" Abraham called|strong="H7121" the|strong="H7200" name|strong="H8034" of|strong="H3068" that|strong="H7200" place|strong="H4725" Jehovah-jireh: as|strong="H3117" it|strong="H1931" is|strong="H3068" said|strong="H7121" to|strong="H3068" this|strong="H1931" day|strong="H3117", In|strong="H3068" the|strong="H7200" mount|strong="H2022" of|strong="H3068" Jehovah|strong="H3068" it|strong="H1931" shall|strong="H3068" be|strong="H3068" provided|strong="H7200".
15 And|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" angel|strong="H4397" of|strong="H3068" Jehovah|strong="H3068" called|strong="H7121" unto|strong="H3068" Abraham a|strong="H3068" second|strong="H8145" time|strong="H8145" out|strong="H4480" of|strong="H3068" heaven|strong="H8064",
16 and|strong="H1121" said|strong="H1697", By|strong="H7650" myself have|strong="H3068" I|strong="H3588" sworn|strong="H7650", saith|strong="H5002" Jehovah|strong="H3068", because|strong="H3588" thou|strong="H6213" hast done|strong="H6213" this|strong="H2088" thing|strong="H1697", and|strong="H1121" hast not|strong="H3808" withheld|strong="H2820" thy|strong="H3068" son|strong="H1121", thine|strong="H6213" only|strong="H3173" son|strong="H1121",
17 that|strong="H3588" in|strong="H5921" blessing|strong="H1288" I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H8064" bless|strong="H1288" thee|strong="H1288", and|strong="H8064" in|strong="H5921" multiplying|strong="H7235" I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H8064" multiply|strong="H7235" thy|strong="H7235" seed|strong="H2233" as|strong="H3588" the|strong="H5921" stars|strong="H3556" of|strong="H8179" the|strong="H5921" heavens|strong="H8064", and|strong="H8064" as|strong="H3588" the|strong="H5921" sand|strong="H2344" which|strong="H2344" is|strong="H1288" upon|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" seashore|strong="H3220"; and|strong="H8064" thy|strong="H7235" seed|strong="H2233" shall|strong="H2233" possess|strong="H3423" the|strong="H5921" gate|strong="H8179" of|strong="H8179" his|strong="H5921" enemies;
18 and|strong="H6963" in|strong="H8085" thy|strong="H8085" seed|strong="H2233" shall|strong="H1471" all|strong="H3605" the|strong="H3605" nations|strong="H1471" of|strong="H6963" the|strong="H3605" earth be|strong="H1471" blessed|strong="H1288"; because|strong="H6118" thou|strong="H8085" hast obeyed|strong="H8085" my|strong="H8085" voice|strong="H6963".
19 So|strong="H6965" Abraham returned|strong="H7725" unto|strong="H7725" his|strong="H7725" young|strong="H5288" men|strong="H5288", and|strong="H6965" they|strong="H3162" rose|strong="H6965" up|strong="H6965" and|strong="H6965" went|strong="H3212" together|strong="H3162" to|strong="H7725" Beer-sheba; and|strong="H6965" Abraham dwelt|strong="H3427" at|strong="H3427" Beer-sheba.
20 And|strong="H1121" it|strong="H1931" came|strong="H1961" to|strong="H1961" pass|strong="H1961" after|strong="H1961" these|strong="H1931" things|strong="H1697", that|strong="H1931" it|strong="H1931" was|strong="H1961" told|strong="H5046" Abraham, saying|strong="H1697", Behold|strong="H2009", Milcah|strong="H4435", she|strong="H1931" also|strong="H1571" hath|strong="H1121" borne|strong="H3205" children|strong="H1121" unto|strong="H3205" thy|strong="H5046" brother Nahor|strong="H5152":
21 Uz|strong="H5780" his|strong="H5780" firstborn|strong="H1060", and|strong="H5780" Buz his|strong="H5780" brother, and|strong="H5780" Kemuel|strong="H7055" the|strong="H7055" father of|strong="H1060" Aram,
22 and|strong="H6394" Chesed|strong="H3777", and|strong="H6394" Hazo|strong="H2375", and|strong="H6394" Pildash|strong="H6394", and|strong="H6394" Jidlaph|strong="H3044", and|strong="H6394" Bethuel|strong="H1328".
23 And|strong="H7259" Bethuel|strong="H1328" begat|strong="H3205" Rebekah|strong="H7259": these eight|strong="H8083" did|strong="H4435" Milcah|strong="H4435" bear|strong="H3205" to|strong="H3205" Nahor|strong="H5152", Abraham’s brother.
24 And|strong="H8034" his|strong="H1931" concubine|strong="H6370", whose|strong="H8034" name|strong="H8034" was|strong="H8034" Reumah|strong="H7208", she|strong="H1931" also|strong="H1571" bare|strong="H3205" Tebah|strong="H2875", and|strong="H8034" Gaham|strong="H1514", and|strong="H8034" Tahash|strong="H8477", and|strong="H8034" Maacah|strong="H4601".
