4 Thy|strong="H1732" seed will|strong="H5650" I|strong="H5650" establish for|strong="H5650" ever, and|strong="H1732" build up thy|strong="H1732" throne to|strong="H1732" all|strong="H3772" generations. Selah

7 A|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068" very terrible in|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" council of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3588" holy ones|strong="H1121", and|strong="H1121" to|strong="H3068" be|strong="H3068" feared above all|strong="H3068" them|strong="H1121" that|strong="H3588" are|strong="H1121" round about him|strong="H3588"?
8 O|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068" God of|strong="H6918" hosts, who|strong="H3605" is|strong="H3605" a|strong="H3068" mighty|strong="H7227" one|strong="H6918", like|strong="H5921" unto thee, O|strong="H3068" JAH? and|strong="H3372" thy|strong="H3372" faithfulness is|strong="H3605" round|strong="H5439" about|strong="H5439" thee.
9 Thou|strong="H3644" rulest the|strong="H3068" pride of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" sea: when|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" waves thereof arise, thou|strong="H3644" stillest them|strong="H5439".
10 Thou hast broken Rahab in|strong="H4910" pieces, as one that|strong="H3220" is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with|strong="H3220" the|strong="H7623" arm of|strong="H3220" thy|strong="H7623" strength.
11 The|strong="H6340" heavens are|strong="H2491" thine|strong="H6340", the|strong="H6340" earth also|strong="H5797" is|strong="H2220" thine|strong="H6340": the|strong="H6340" world and|strong="H5797" the|strong="H6340" fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
12 The|strong="H3245" north and|strong="H8064" the|strong="H3245" south, thou hast created them|strong="H3245": Tabor and|strong="H8064" Hermon rejoice in|strong="H8064" thy|strong="H8064" name.
13 Thou hast a|strong="H3068" mighty arm: strong is|strong="H8034" thy hand|strong="H3225", and|strong="H3225" high is|strong="H8034" thy right|strong="H3225" hand|strong="H3225".
14 Righteousness and|strong="H3027" judgment|strong="H3027" are|strong="H3027" the|strong="H3027" foundation of|strong="H3027" thy|strong="H3027" throne: mercy and|strong="H3027" truth go before|strong="H5973" thy|strong="H3027" face.
15 Blessed is|strong="H2617" the|strong="H6440" people that know the|strong="H6440" joyful sound: they|strong="H6440" walk, O|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068", in|strong="H6440" the|strong="H6440" light of|strong="H6440" thy|strong="H6440" countenance|strong="H6440".
16 In|strong="H1980" thy|strong="H3068" name do|strong="H3068" they|strong="H3068" rejoice all|strong="H3045" the|strong="H6440" day: and|strong="H1980" in|strong="H1980" thy|strong="H3068" righteousness are|strong="H5971" they|strong="H3068" exalted.

18 For|strong="H3588" our|strong="H3588" shield belongeth unto|strong="H5797" the|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068"; and|strong="H5797" our|strong="H3588" king to|strong="H3588" the|strong="H3588" Holy One|strong="H3588" of|strong="H7161" Israel.
19 Then|strong="H4428" thou|strong="H3588" spakest in|strong="H3478" vision to|strong="H3478" thy|strong="H3068" saints|strong="H6918", and|strong="H3478" saidst, I|strong="H3588" have|strong="H3068" laid|strong="H3478" help upon one|strong="H6918" that|strong="H3588" is|strong="H3068" mighty; I|strong="H3588" have|strong="H3068" exalted one|strong="H6918" chosen out of|strong="H4428" the|strong="H3588" people.
20 I|strong="H5921" have|strong="H5971" found David my|strong="H5921" servant; with|strong="H1696" my|strong="H5921" holy|strong="H2623" oil have|strong="H5971" I|strong="H5921" anointed him|strong="H5921":
21 With|strong="H4886" whom my|strong="H1732" hand|strong="H4672" shall|strong="H5650" be|strong="H5650" established; mine arm also|strong="H1732" shall|strong="H5650" strengthen him|strong="H4672".
22 The|strong="H3027" enemy shall|strong="H3027" not|strong="H3559" exact upon|strong="H3027" him|strong="H3027"; nor the|strong="H3027" son of|strong="H3027" wickedness afflict him|strong="H3027".
23 And|strong="H1121" I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H1121" beat down his|strong="H3808" adversaries before|strong="H3808" him|strong="H1121", and|strong="H1121" smite them|strong="H1121" that|strong="H1121" hate him|strong="H1121".
24 But|strong="H5062" my|strong="H6440" faithfulness and|strong="H6440" my|strong="H6440" mercy shall|strong="H6440" be|strong="H6440" with|strong="H6440" him|strong="H6440"; and|strong="H6440" in|strong="H6440" my|strong="H6440" name shall|strong="H6440" his|strong="H6440" horn be|strong="H6440" exalted.
25 I|strong="H7311" will|strong="H8034" set|strong="H7311" his|strong="H7311" hand also|strong="H8034" on|strong="H5973" the|strong="H5973" sea, and|strong="H2617" his|strong="H7311" right hand on|strong="H5973" the|strong="H5973" rivers.
26 He|strong="H3027" shall|strong="H3027" cry unto|strong="H3027" me|strong="H7760", Thou|strong="H3027" art my|strong="H7760" father, my|strong="H7760" God|strong="H3027", and|strong="H3027" the|strong="H7760" rock of|strong="H3027" my|strong="H7760" salvation.
27 I|strong="H6697" also|strong="H1931" will|strong="H1931" make|strong="H7121" him|strong="H7121" my firstborn, the|strong="H7121" highest of|strong="H6697" the|strong="H7121" kings of|strong="H6697" the|strong="H7121" earth.
28 My|strong="H5414" mercy will|strong="H4428" I|strong="H5414" keep for|strong="H4428" him|strong="H5414" for|strong="H4428" evermore, and|strong="H4428" my|strong="H5414" covenant shall|strong="H4428" stand fast with|strong="H4428" him|strong="H5414".
29 His|strong="H8104" seed also|strong="H2617" will|strong="H2617" I make to|strong="H8104" endure|strong="H5769" for|strong="H2617" ever|strong="H5769", and|strong="H5769" his|strong="H8104" throne as|strong="H2617" the|strong="H8104" days|strong="H5769" of|strong="H1285" heaven.
30 If|strong="H7760" his|strong="H7760" children|strong="H2233" forsake my|strong="H7760" law, and|strong="H3117" walk not|strong="H7760" in|strong="H3117" my|strong="H7760" judgments;
31 If|strong="H1121" they|strong="H3808" break my|strong="H5800" statutes, and|strong="H1121" keep not|strong="H3808" my|strong="H5800" commandments;
32 Then|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3808" I|strong="H3808" visit their|strong="H3808" transgression with|strong="H2708" the|strong="H8104" rod, and|strong="H2708" their|strong="H3808" iniquity with|strong="H2708" stripes.
33 But my|strong="H6485" mercy will|strong="H5771" I|strong="H6588" not utterly take|strong="H6485" from|strong="H7626" him|strong="H6485", nor suffer|strong="H6485" my|strong="H6485" faithfulness to|strong="H5771" fail.
34 My|strong="H3808" covenant will|strong="H3808" I|strong="H3808" not|strong="H3808" break, nor|strong="H3808" alter the|strong="H5973" thing|strong="H2617" that|strong="H3808" is|strong="H2617" gone|strong="H3808" out|strong="H3808" of|strong="H2617" my|strong="H3808" lips.
35 Once have|strong="H8193" I|strong="H3808" sworn by|strong="H3808" my|strong="H2490" holiness; I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3808" not|strong="H3808" lie unto|strong="H8138" David;
36 His|strong="H1732" seed shall|strong="H1732" endure for|strong="H1732" ever, and|strong="H1732" his|strong="H1732" throne as the|strong="H1732" sun before me.
37 It|strong="H1961" shall|strong="H2233" be|strong="H1961" established for|strong="H1961" ever|strong="H5769" as|strong="H1961" the|strong="H1961" moon, and|strong="H5769" as the|strong="H1961" faithful witness in|strong="H2233" the|strong="H1961" sky. Selah
38 But thou hast cast off and|strong="H5769" rejected, thou hast been|strong="H5769" wroth with thine|strong="H3559" anointed.
39 Thou hast abhorred|strong="H3988" the|strong="H5674" covenant of|strong="H5674" thy|strong="H5674" servant: thou hast profaned his|strong="H5674" crown even to|strong="H5674" the|strong="H5674" ground.
40 Thou|strong="H2490" hast broken|strong="H2490" down all his|strong="H2490" hedges; thou|strong="H2490" hast brought|strong="H5650" his|strong="H2490" strong holds to|strong="H2490" rain.
41 All|strong="H3605" that|strong="H3605" pass by|strong="H3605" the|strong="H3605" way|strong="H3605" spoil him|strong="H7760": he|strong="H3605" is|strong="H3605" become a|strong="H3068" reproach to|strong="H3605" his|strong="H3605" neighbours.

50 Remember, Lord|strong="H2617", the|strong="H1732" reproach|strong="H2617" of|strong="H2617" thy|strong="H1732" servants; how I|strong="H7650" do|strong="H7650" bear in|strong="H1732" my|strong="H1732" bosom the reproach of all the|strong="H1732" mighty peoples:
51 Wherewith thine|strong="H5375" enemies have|strong="H5971" reproached, O|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068", wherewith they|strong="H5971" have|strong="H5971" reproached the|strong="H3605" footsteps of|strong="H5650" thine|strong="H5375" anointed.
