2 O|strong="H3068" my|strong="H5800" God, I|strong="H1697" cry in|strong="H1697" the|strong="H1697" day-time, but|strong="H5800" thou|strong="H4100" answerest not; and|strong="H1697" in|strong="H1697" the|strong="H1697" night season, and|strong="H1697" am not silent.
3 But|strong="H3808" thou|strong="H7121" art holy, O|strong="H3068" thou|strong="H7121" that|strong="H7121" inhabitest the|strong="H7121" praises of|strong="H7121" Israel.
4 Our|strong="H3478" fathers trusted in|strong="H3427" thee|strong="H8416": they|strong="H3478" trusted, and|strong="H3478" thou|strong="H3427" didst deliver them|strong="H3427".
5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered|strong="H6403": they trusted in thee, and were not ashamed.
6 But|strong="H3808" I|strong="H3808" am a|strong="H3068" worm, and|strong="H2199" no|strong="H3808" man; a|strong="H3068" reproach of|strong="H3808" men, and|strong="H2199" despised of|strong="H3808" the|strong="H3808" people|strong="H3808".
7 All they|strong="H3808" that|strong="H5971" see me|strong="H2781" laugh me|strong="H2781" to|strong="H5971" scorn|strong="H2781": they|strong="H3808" shoot out|strong="H3808" the|strong="H3808" lip, they|strong="H3808" shake the|strong="H3808" head, saying,
8 Commit thyself unto|strong="H7200" the|strong="H3605" LORD|strong="H3068"; let him|strong="H7200" deliver him|strong="H7200": let him|strong="H7200" deliver him|strong="H7200", seeing|strong="H7200" he|strong="H3605" delighteth in|strong="H7200" him|strong="H7200".
9 But|strong="H3588" thou|strong="H3588" art|strong="H3068" he|strong="H3588" that|strong="H3588" took|strong="H5337" me|strong="H5337" out|strong="H5337" the|strong="H3588" womb: thou|strong="H3588" didst make|strong="H3588" me|strong="H5337" trust when I was upon my|strong="H3068" mother’s breasts.
10 I|strong="H3588" was cast upon|strong="H5921" thee from|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" womb: thou|strong="H3588" art my|strong="H5921" God from|strong="H5921" my|strong="H5921" mother’s belly.
11 Be not far|strong="H5921" from|strong="H5921" me|strong="H5921"; for|strong="H5921" trouble is near|strong="H5921"; for|strong="H5921" there is none to|strong="H5921" help.
12 Many bulls have|strong="H3588" compassed me|strong="H4480": strong bulls of|strong="H4480" Bashan have|strong="H3588" beset me|strong="H4480" round.
13 They gape upon me|strong="H5437" with|strong="H6499" their|strong="H5437" mouth, as a|strong="H3068" ravening and|strong="H6499" a|strong="H3068" roaring lion.
14 I|strong="H5921" am poured out|strong="H5921" like|strong="H5921" water, and|strong="H6310" all|strong="H5921" my|strong="H5921" bones are|strong="H6310" out|strong="H5921" of|strong="H6310" joint: my|strong="H5921" heart is|strong="H6310" like|strong="H5921" wax; it|strong="H5921" is|strong="H6310" melted in|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" midst of|strong="H6310" my|strong="H5921" bowels.
15 My|strong="H3605" Strength|strong="H6106" is|strong="H3820" dried up|strong="H8210" like|strong="H1961" a|strong="H3068" potsherd; and|strong="H4325" my|strong="H3605" tongue cleaveth to|strong="H1961" my|strong="H3605" jaws; and|strong="H4325" thou|strong="H1961" hast brought|strong="H1961" me|strong="H1961" into|strong="H8432" the|strong="H3605" dust of|strong="H4325" death.
16 For|strong="H6083" dogs have|strong="H4194" compassed me|strong="H8239": the|strong="H3001" assembly of|strong="H4194" evil-doers have|strong="H4194" enclosed me|strong="H8239"; they|strong="H3581" pierced my|strong="H3581" hands and|strong="H6083" my|strong="H3581" feet.
17 I|strong="H3588" may|strong="H7272" tell all|strong="H5437" my|strong="H3588" bones; they|strong="H3588" look and|strong="H3027" stare upon|strong="H3027" me|strong="H5437":
18 They|strong="H1992" part|strong="H1992" my|strong="H3605" garments among|strong="H7200" them|strong="H1992", and|strong="H7200" upon|strong="H7200" my|strong="H3605" vesture do|strong="H3605" they|strong="H1992" cast lots.
19 But|strong="H1992" be|strong="H3830" not|strong="H5307" thou far|strong="H5921" off|strong="H5921", O|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068": O|strong="H3068" thou my|strong="H5921" succour, haste thee to|strong="H5921" help me|strong="H5921".
20 Deliver my|strong="H3068" soul from|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" sword; my|strong="H3068" darling from|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" power of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" dog;
21 Save|strong="H5337" me|strong="H5315" from|strong="H5315" the|strong="H3027" lion’s mouth|strong="H5315"; yea, from|strong="H5315" the|strong="H3027" horns of|strong="H3027" the|strong="H3027" wild-oxen thou|strong="H3027" hast answered me|strong="H5315".
22 I will|strong="H6310" declare|strong="H6030" thy|strong="H3467" name unto|strong="H6310" my|strong="H3467" brethren: in|strong="H6310" the|strong="H6030" midst of|strong="H6310" the|strong="H6030" congregation will|strong="H6310" I praise thee|strong="H6030".
23 Ye that|strong="H6951" fear the|strong="H8432" LORD|strong="H3068", praise|strong="H1984" him|strong="H8034"; all ye the|strong="H8432" seed of|strong="H8034" Jacob|strong="H5608", glorify him|strong="H8034"; and|strong="H8034" stand in|strong="H8432" awe of|strong="H8034" him|strong="H8034", all ye the|strong="H8432" seed of|strong="H8034" Israel.
24 For|strong="H3068" he|strong="H3068" hath|strong="H3068" not|strong="H3373" despised nor|strong="H4480" abhorred the|strong="H3605" affliction of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3605" afflicted; neither|strong="H4480" hath|strong="H3068" he|strong="H3068" hid his|strong="H3605" face from|strong="H4480" him|strong="H3605"; but|strong="H3513" when|strong="H3068" he|strong="H3068" cried|strong="H3478" unto|strong="H3068" him|strong="H3605", he|strong="H3068" heard.
25 Of|strong="H6440" thee|strong="H6440" cometh my|strong="H8085" praise|strong="H3588" in|strong="H8085" the|strong="H6440" great|strong="H6440" congregation: I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H3808" pay|strong="H8085" my|strong="H8085" vows before|strong="H6440" them|strong="H6440" that|strong="H3588" fear|strong="H6440" him|strong="H6440".
26 The|strong="H3373" meek shall|strong="H5088" eat and|strong="H8416" be|strong="H5088" satisfied: they shall|strong="H5088" praise|strong="H8416" the|strong="H3373" LORD|strong="H3068" that|strong="H7227" seek after him|strong="H5048": let your|strong="H7999" heart live for|strong="H7227" ever.
27 All|strong="H1875" the|strong="H3068" ends of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" earth shall|strong="H3068" remember and|strong="H3068" turn|strong="H3824" unto|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068": and|strong="H3068" all|strong="H1875" the|strong="H3068" kindreds of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" nations shall|strong="H3068" worship before|strong="H2421" thee.
28 For|strong="H6440" the|strong="H3605" kingdom|strong="H6440" is|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3605" LORD|strong="H3068"’S: and|strong="H3068" he|strong="H3068" is|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3605" ruler over|strong="H6440" the|strong="H3605" nations|strong="H1471".
29 All|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" fat ones of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" earth shall|strong="H3068" eat and|strong="H3068" worship: all|strong="H3068" they|strong="H3588" that|strong="H3588" go|strong="H3068" down|strong="H3588" to|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" dust shall|strong="H3068" bow before him|strong="H3068", even|strong="H3588" he|strong="H3588" that|strong="H3588" cannot keep his|strong="H3068" soul alive.
30 A|strong="H3068" seed shall|strong="H5315" serve|strong="H6440" him|strong="H6440"; it|strong="H3381" shall|strong="H5315" be|strong="H3808" told of|strong="H6440" the|strong="H3605" Lord unto|strong="H6440" the|strong="H3605" next generation.
31 They|strong="H5608" shall|strong="H2233" come and|strong="H5647" shall|strong="H2233" declare|strong="H5608" his|strong="H5647" righteousness unto|strong="H2233" a|strong="H3068" people that|strong="H1755" shall|strong="H2233" be|strong="H5647" born, that|strong="H1755" he|strong="H2233" hath done|strong="H5647" it.
