2 The|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068" is|strong="H3068" my|strong="H3068" rock, and|strong="H3068" my|strong="H3068" fortress, and|strong="H3068" my|strong="H3068" deliverer; my|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068", my|strong="H3068" strong rock, in|strong="H3068" him|strong="H3068" will|strong="H3068" I|strong="H3068" trust; my|strong="H3068" shield, and|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" horn of|strong="H3068" my|strong="H3068" salvation, my|strong="H3068" high tower.
3 I|strong="H3068" will|strong="H3068" call upon the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068", who|strong="H3068" is|strong="H3068" worthy to|strong="H3068" be|strong="H3068" praised: so shall|strong="H3068" I|strong="H3068" be|strong="H3068" saved from|strong="H3068" mine enemies.
4 The|strong="H3068" cords of|strong="H3068" death compassed me|strong="H7121", and|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" floods of|strong="H3068" ungodliness made|strong="H7121" me|strong="H7121" afraid.
5 The|strong="H4194" cords|strong="H2256" of|strong="H5158" Sheol were|strong="H4194" round about me: the|strong="H4194" snares of|strong="H5158" death|strong="H4194" came on|strong="H4194" me.
6 In|strong="H7585" my|strong="H5437" distress I|strong="H4194" called upon the|strong="H5437" LORD|strong="H3068", and|strong="H5437" cried unto|strong="H5437" my|strong="H5437" God: he|strong="H4194" heard my|strong="H5437" voice out|strong="H5437" of|strong="H4194" his|strong="H5437" temple, and|strong="H5437" my|strong="H5437" cry before|strong="H6923" him|strong="H7585" came into his|strong="H5437" ears.
7 Then|strong="H8085" the|strong="H6440" earth shook and|strong="H3068" trembled, me|strong="H6440" foundations also|strong="H3068" of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H6440" mountains moved and|strong="H3068" were|strong="H3068" shaken, because|strong="H6440" he|strong="H3068" was|strong="H3068" wroth.
8 There|strong="H2022" went up|strong="H4146" a|strong="H3068" smoke out|strong="H7264" of|strong="H2022" his|strong="H3588" nostrils, and|strong="H2022" fire out|strong="H7264" of|strong="H2022" his|strong="H3588" mouth devoured: coals were|strong="H2022" kindled|strong="H2734" by|strong="H3588" it|strong="H3588".
9 He|strong="H4480" bowed the|strong="H4480" heavens also, and|strong="H5927" came|strong="H5927" down, and|strong="H5927" thick darkness was|strong="H6310" under|strong="H4480" his|strong="H4480" feet.
10 And|strong="H8064" he|strong="H7272" rode upon|strong="H3381" a|strong="H3068" cherub, and|strong="H8064" did fly, yea, he|strong="H7272" flew swiftly upon|strong="H3381" the|strong="H8478" wings of|strong="H8478" the|strong="H8478" wind.
11 He|strong="H5921" made|strong="H7307" darkness his|strong="H5921" hiding place, his|strong="H5921" pavilion round about|strong="H5921" him|strong="H5921"; darkness of|strong="H7307" waters, thick clouds of|strong="H7307" the|strong="H5921" skies|strong="H5921".
12 At|strong="H4325" the|strong="H5439" brightness before him|strong="H7896" his|strong="H7896" thick|strong="H5645" clouds|strong="H5645" passed|strong="H4325", hailstones and|strong="H4325" coals of|strong="H4325" fire.
13 The|strong="H5674" LORD|strong="H3068" also|strong="H1259" thundered in|strong="H5674" the|strong="H5674" heavens, and|strong="H5674" the|strong="H5674" Most High uttered his|strong="H5674" voice; hailstones|strong="H1259" and|strong="H5674" coals|strong="H1513" of|strong="H1513" fire|strong="H1513".
14 And|strong="H3068" he|strong="H3068" sent|strong="H5414" out|strong="H5414" his|strong="H5414" arrows, and|strong="H3068" scattered them|strong="H5414"; yea, lightnings manifold, and|strong="H3068" discomfited them|strong="H5414".
15 Then|strong="H7971" the|strong="H7971" channels of|strong="H2671" waters appeared, and|strong="H7971" the|strong="H7971" foundations of|strong="H2671" the|strong="H7971" world were laid|strong="H7971" bare, at|strong="H7971" thy|strong="H7971" rebuke, O|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068", at|strong="H7971" the|strong="H7971" blast of|strong="H2671" the|strong="H7971" breath of|strong="H2671" thy|strong="H7971" nostrils.
16 He|strong="H3068" sent|strong="H1540" from|strong="H1540" on|strong="H7200" high, he|strong="H3068" took me|strong="H7200"; he|strong="H3068" drew me|strong="H7200" out|strong="H7200" of|strong="H3068" many|strong="H7200" waters|strong="H4325".
17 He|strong="H7971" delivered|strong="H7971" me|strong="H7971" from|strong="H7971" my|strong="H3947" strong enemy, and|strong="H7971" from|strong="H7971" them|strong="H7971" that|strong="H4325" hated me|strong="H7971", for|strong="H7971" they|strong="H3947" were|strong="H4325" too|strong="H7227" mighty|strong="H7227" for|strong="H7971" me|strong="H7971".
18 They|strong="H3588" came|strong="H5794" upon me|strong="H8130" in|strong="H4480" the|strong="H3588" day of|strong="H4480" my|strong="H5337" calamity: but|strong="H3588" the|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068" was my|strong="H5337" stay.
19 He|strong="H3117" brought|strong="H1961" me|strong="H1961" forth also|strong="H3068" into|strong="H1961" a|strong="H3068" large place|strong="H1961"; he|strong="H3117" delivered|strong="H3068" me|strong="H1961", because|strong="H3117" he|strong="H3117" delighted in|strong="H3068" me|strong="H1961".
20 The|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068" rewarded me|strong="H3318" according to|strong="H3318" my|strong="H3318" righteousness; according to|strong="H3318" the|strong="H3588" cleanness of|strong="H3318" my|strong="H3318" hands hath|strong="H3588" he|strong="H3588" recompensed me|strong="H3318".
21 For|strong="H3027" I|strong="H3027" have|strong="H3068" kept the|strong="H3068" ways of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068", and|strong="H3068" have|strong="H3068" not|strong="H7725" wickedly departed from|strong="H7725" my|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068".
22 For|strong="H3588" all|strong="H3068" his|strong="H8104" judgments were|strong="H1870" before|strong="H3808" me|strong="H8104", and|strong="H3068" I|strong="H3588" put|strong="H3068" not|strong="H3808" away|strong="H1870" his|strong="H8104" statutes from|strong="H3068" me|strong="H8104".
23 I|strong="H3588" was|strong="H3605" also|strong="H3588" perfect with|strong="H4941" him|strong="H3605", and|strong="H4941" I|strong="H3588" kept myself from|strong="H4480" mine|strong="H5493" iniquity.
24 Therefore|strong="H1961" hath the|strong="H8104" LORD|strong="H3068" recompensed me|strong="H5973" according to|strong="H1961" my|strong="H8104" righteousness, according to|strong="H1961" the|strong="H8104" cleanness of|strong="H5771" my|strong="H8104" hands in|strong="H8549" his|strong="H8104" eyesight.
25 With|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" merciful thou|strong="H3027" wilt shew thyself merciful; with|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" perfect man thou|strong="H3027" wilt shew thyself perfect;
26 With|strong="H5973" the|strong="H5973" pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and|strong="H5973" with|strong="H5973" the|strong="H5973" perverse thou wilt shew thyself froward.
27 For|strong="H5973" thou wilt save the|strong="H5973" afflicted people; but|strong="H6617" the|strong="H5973" haughty eyes thou wilt bring down.
28 For|strong="H3588" thou|strong="H3588" wilt light my|strong="H7311" lamp: the|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068" my|strong="H7311" God will|strong="H5971" lighten my|strong="H7311" darkness.
29 For|strong="H3588" by|strong="H3068" thee I|strong="H3588" run upon a|strong="H3068" troop; and|strong="H3068" by|strong="H3068" my|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068" do|strong="H3068" I|strong="H3588" leap over|strong="H3068" a|strong="H3068" wall.
30 As|strong="H3588" for|strong="H3588" God, his|strong="H3588" way is|strong="H3588" perfect: the|strong="H3588" word of|strong="H1416" the|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068" is|strong="H3588" tried; he|strong="H3588" is|strong="H3588" a|strong="H3068" shield unto|strong="H7323" all them|strong="H7323" that|strong="H3588" trust in|strong="H3588" him|strong="H3588".
31 For|strong="H3068" who|strong="H3605" is|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068", save the|strong="H3605" LORD|strong="H3068"? and|strong="H3068" who|strong="H3605" is|strong="H3068" a|strong="H3068" rock, beside our|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068"?
32 The|strong="H3588" God|strong="H3068" that|strong="H3588" girdeth me|strong="H1107" with|strong="H3068" strength|strong="H6697", and|strong="H3068" maketh|strong="H3068" my|strong="H3068" way perfect.
33 He|strong="H5414" maketh|strong="H5414" my|strong="H5414" feet like|strong="H1870" hinds’ feet: and|strong="H1870" setteth me|strong="H5414" upon|strong="H5414" my|strong="H5414" high places,
34 He|strong="H5921" teacheth my|strong="H5921" hands to|strong="H5921" war; so|strong="H5975" that|strong="H1116" mine arms do bend a|strong="H3068" bow of|strong="H5921" brass.
35 Thou|strong="H3027" hast also|strong="H3027" given|strong="H3027" me|strong="H3925" the|strong="H3027" shield of|strong="H3027" thy|strong="H3027" salvation: and|strong="H3027" thy|strong="H3027" right hand|strong="H3027" hath|strong="H3027" holden me|strong="H3925" up, and|strong="H3027" thy|strong="H3027" gentleness hath|strong="H3027" made me|strong="H3925" great.
36 Thou|strong="H5414" hast enlarged my|strong="H5414" steps under|strong="H5414" me|strong="H5414", and|strong="H4043" my|strong="H5414" feet have|strong="H5414" not|strong="H5414" slipped.
37 I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3808" pursue mine|strong="H8478" enemies, and|strong="H8478" overtake them|strong="H8478": neither|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3808" I|strong="H3808" turn again till they|strong="H3808" are|strong="H8478" consumed.
38 I|strong="H5704" will|strong="H3808" smite them|strong="H7725" through that|strong="H5704" they|strong="H3808" shall|strong="H3808" not|strong="H3808" be|strong="H3808" able|strong="H5381" to|strong="H5704" rise: they|strong="H3808" shall|strong="H3808" fall under my|strong="H7725" feet.
39 For|strong="H8478" thou hast girded me|strong="H3808" with|strong="H6965" strength unto|strong="H6965" the|strong="H8478" battle: thou hast subdued under|strong="H8478" me|strong="H3808" those that|strong="H5307" rose|strong="H6965" up|strong="H6965" against|strong="H6965" me|strong="H3808".
40 Thou hast also made mine|strong="H8478" enemies|strong="H6965" turn their|strong="H8478" backs unto|strong="H6965" me|strong="H3766", that|strong="H4421" I|strong="H6965" might|strong="H2428" cut off them|strong="H8478" that|strong="H4421" hate me|strong="H3766".
41 They|strong="H5414" cried|strong="H5414", but there was|strong="H5414" none|strong="H5414" to|strong="H5414" save: even unto|strong="H5414" the|strong="H5414" LORD|strong="H3068", but he|strong="H5414" answered them|strong="H5414" not|strong="H5414".
42 Then|strong="H6030" did|strong="H3068" I|strong="H5921" beat them|strong="H5921" small as|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5921" dust before|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" wind: I|strong="H5921" did|strong="H3068" cast|strong="H3068" them|strong="H5921" out|strong="H5921" as|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5921" mire of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5921" streets.
43 Thou|strong="H6440" hast delivered me|strong="H6440" from|strong="H6440" the|strong="H6440" strivings of|strong="H6440" the|strong="H6440" people; thou|strong="H6440" hast made|strong="H7307" me|strong="H6440" the|strong="H6440" head|strong="H6440" of|strong="H6440" the|strong="H6440" nations|strong="H6440": a|strong="H3068" people whom|strong="H6440" I|strong="H5921" have|strong="H5921" not|strong="H6440" known shall|strong="H7307" serve|strong="H6440" me|strong="H6440".
44 As|strong="H5971" soon as|strong="H5971" they|strong="H3808" hear of|strong="H7218" me|strong="H7760" they|strong="H3808" shall|strong="H5971" obey|strong="H3045" me|strong="H7760": the|strong="H5647" strangers shall|strong="H5971" submit themselves|strong="H7760" unto|strong="H5971" me|strong="H7760".
45 The|strong="H8085" strangers|strong="H1121" shall|strong="H1121" fade away, and|strong="H1121" shall|strong="H1121" come trembling out of|strong="H1121" their|strong="H8085" close places.
46 The|strong="H1121" LORD|strong="H3068" liveth; and|strong="H1121" blessed be|strong="H1121" my rock; and|strong="H1121" exalted be|strong="H1121" the|strong="H1121" God of|strong="H1121" my salvation:
47 Even|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068" that|strong="H3068" executeth vengeance for|strong="H3068" me|strong="H7311", and|strong="H3068" subdueth peoples under me|strong="H7311".
48 He|strong="H5414" rescueth me|strong="H5414" from|strong="H8478" mine|strong="H5414" enemies: yea, thou|strong="H5414" liftest me|strong="H5414" up|strong="H5414" above them|strong="H5414" that|strong="H5971" rise up|strong="H5414" against|strong="H1696" me|strong="H5414": thou|strong="H5414" deliverest me|strong="H5414" from|strong="H8478" the|strong="H5414" violent man.
49 Therefore I|strong="H6965" will|strong="H2555" give|strong="H7311" thanks unto|strong="H6965" thee, O|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068", among|strong="H4480" the|strong="H4480" nations, and|strong="H6965" will|strong="H2555" sing praises unto|strong="H6965" thy|strong="H6965" name.
50 Great deliverance giveth he|strong="H3651" to|strong="H3068" his|strong="H3068" king|strong="H5921"; and|strong="H3068" sheweth lovingkindness to|strong="H3068" his|strong="H3068" anointed, to|strong="H3068" David and|strong="H3068" to|strong="H3068" his|strong="H3068" seed, for|strong="H5921" evermore.
