8 Nevertheless he|strong="H3045" saved|strong="H3467" them|strong="H4616" for|strong="H8034" his|strong="H3045" name|strong="H8034"’s sake|strong="H4616", that|strong="H3045" he|strong="H3045" might|strong="H1369" make|strong="H3045" his|strong="H3045" mighty|strong="H1369" power|strong="H1369" to|strong="H4616" be|strong="H8034" known|strong="H3045".

24 Yea, they|strong="H3808" despised|strong="H3988" the|strong="H1697" pleasant|strong="H2532" land, they|strong="H3808" believed not|strong="H3808" his|strong="H3808" word|strong="H1697";
25 But|strong="H3808" murmured|strong="H7279" in|strong="H3068" their|strong="H3068" tents, and|strong="H3068" hearkened|strong="H8085" not|strong="H3808" unto|strong="H3068" the|strong="H8085" voice|strong="H6963" of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H8085" LORD|strong="H3068".
26 Therefore he|strong="H3027" lifted|strong="H5375" up|strong="H5375" his|strong="H5375" hand|strong="H3027" unto|strong="H3027" them|strong="H1992", that|strong="H3027" he|strong="H3027" would overthrow|strong="H5307" them|strong="H1992" in|strong="H3027" the|strong="H5375" wilderness|strong="H4057":
27 And|strong="H1471" that|strong="H1471" he|strong="H2233" would overthrow|strong="H5307" their|strong="H5307" seed|strong="H2233" among the|strong="H5307" nations|strong="H1471", and|strong="H1471" scatter|strong="H2219" them|strong="H5307" in|strong="H5307" the|strong="H5307" lands.
28 They joined|strong="H6775" themselves also|strong="H4191" unto|strong="H2077" Baal-peor|strong="H1187", and|strong="H2077" ate the|strong="H4191" sacrifices|strong="H2077" of|strong="H2077" the|strong="H4191" dead|strong="H4191".
29 Thus they provoked|strong="H3707" him|strong="H3707" to|strong="H4611" anger|strong="H3707" with|strong="H3707" their|strong="H6555" doings|strong="H4611"; and|strong="H3707" the|strong="H3707" plague|strong="H4046" brake|strong="H4046" in|strong="H6555" upon them.

33 Because|strong="H3588" they|strong="H3588" were|strong="H8193" rebellious|strong="H4784" against|strong="H4784" his|strong="H3588" spirit|strong="H7307", and|strong="H7307" he|strong="H3588" spake unadvisedly with|strong="H8193" his|strong="H3588" lips|strong="H8193".
34 They|strong="H1992" did|strong="H5971" not|strong="H3808" destroy|strong="H8045" the|strong="H3068" peoples|strong="H5971", as|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068" commanded them|strong="H1992";
35 But mingled|strong="H6148" themselves with|strong="H4639" the|strong="H3925" nations|strong="H1471", and|strong="H1471" learned|strong="H3925" their|strong="H3925" works|strong="H4639":
36 And|strong="H5647" they|strong="H1992" served|strong="H5647" their|strong="H1992" idols|strong="H6091"; which|strong="H1992" became|strong="H1961" a|strong="H3068" snare|strong="H4170" unto|strong="H4170" them|strong="H1992":
37 Yea, they sacrificed|strong="H2076" their|strong="H2076" sons|strong="H1121" and|strong="H1121" their|strong="H2076" daughters|strong="H1323" unto|strong="H2076" demons|strong="H7700",

40 Therefore|strong="H3068" was|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" wrath of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068" kindled|strong="H2734" against|strong="H2734" his|strong="H3068" people|strong="H5971", and|strong="H3068" he|strong="H3068" abhorred|strong="H8581" his|strong="H3068" inheritance|strong="H5159".
41 And|strong="H3027" he|strong="H3027" gave|strong="H5414" them|strong="H5414" into|strong="H3027" the|strong="H5414" hand|strong="H3027" of|strong="H3027" the|strong="H5414" nations|strong="H1471"; and|strong="H3027" they|strong="H3027" that|strong="H1471" hated|strong="H8130" them|strong="H5414" ruled|strong="H4910" over|strong="H3027" them|strong="H5414".
42 Their|strong="H8478" enemies|strong="H3027" also|strong="H3027" oppressed|strong="H3905" them|strong="H3027", and|strong="H3027" they|strong="H3027" were|strong="H3027" brought|strong="H3665" into|strong="H3027" subjection|strong="H3665" under|strong="H8478" their|strong="H8478" hand|strong="H3027".

44 Nevertheless he|strong="H7200" regarded|strong="H7200" their|strong="H8085" distress|strong="H6862", when|strong="H7200" he|strong="H7200" heard|strong="H8085" their|strong="H8085" cry|strong="H7440":
45 And|strong="H2617" he|strong="H1285" remembered|strong="H2142" for|strong="H2617" them|strong="H1992" his|strong="H2142" covenant|strong="H1285", and|strong="H2617" repented|strong="H5162" according to|strong="H2617" the|strong="H2142" multitude|strong="H7230" of|strong="H7230" his|strong="H2142" mercies|strong="H2617".
46 He|strong="H3605" made|strong="H5414" them|strong="H5414" also to|strong="H5414" be|strong="H5414" pitied|strong="H7356" of|strong="H6440" all|strong="H3605" those|strong="H3605" that|strong="H3605" carried|strong="H7617" them|strong="H5414" captives|strong="H7617".
47 Save|strong="H3467" us|strong="H4480", O|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068" our|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068", and|strong="H3068" gather|strong="H6908" us|strong="H4480" from|strong="H4480" among|strong="H4480" the|strong="H3068" nations|strong="H1471", to|strong="H3068" give|strong="H3034" thanks|strong="H3034" unto|strong="H3068" thy|strong="H3068" holy|strong="H6944" name|strong="H8034", and|strong="H3068" to|strong="H3068" triumph|strong="H7623" in|strong="H3068" thy|strong="H3068" praise|strong="H8416".
