2 Therefore|strong="G5620" he|strong="G1161" that|strong="G3588" resisteth the|strong="G1161" power|strong="G1849", withstandeth the|strong="G1161" ordinance|strong="G1296" of|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316": and|strong="G1161" they|strong="G1161" that|strong="G3588" withstand shall|strong="G2316" receive|strong="G2983" to|strong="G1849" themselves|strong="G1438" judgment|strong="G2917".
3 For|strong="G1063" rulers are|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" a|strong="G2192" terror|strong="G5401" to|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" good|strong="G3756" work|strong="G2041", but|strong="G1161" to|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" evil|strong="G2556". 5 Wherefore|strong="G1352" ye must|strong="G3588" needs be|strong="G2532" in|strong="G2532" subjection|strong="G5293", not|strong="G3756" only|strong="G3440" because|strong="G1223" of|strong="G1223" the|strong="G2532" wrath|strong="G3709", but|strong="G2532" also|strong="G2532" for|strong="G1223" conscience|strong="G4893" sake|strong="G1223".

14 But|strong="G2532" put|strong="G1746" ye|strong="G2532" on|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547", and|strong="G2532" make|strong="G4160" not|strong="G3361" provision|strong="G4307" for|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" flesh|strong="G4561", to|strong="G1519" fulfill the|strong="G2532" lusts|strong="G1939" thereof.
