3 The|strong="H3588" shield of|strong="H3068" his|strong="H3068" mighty men|strong="H3478" is|strong="H3068" made|strong="H7725" red, the|strong="H3588" valiant men|strong="H3478" are|strong="H3478" in|strong="H3478" scarlet: the|strong="H3588" chariots flash with|strong="H3068" steel in|strong="H3478" the|strong="H3588" day of|strong="H3068" his|strong="H3068" preparation, and|strong="H3478" the|strong="H3588" spears are|strong="H3478" shaken terribly.
4 The|strong="H3117" chariots|strong="H7393" rage in|strong="H3117" the|strong="H3117" streets, they|strong="H3117" justle one|strong="H1368" against|strong="H2428" another|strong="H1368" in|strong="H3117" the|strong="H3117" broad ways: the|strong="H3117" appearance of|strong="H3117" them|strong="H3117" is|strong="H3117" like|strong="H4043" torches|strong="H6393", they|strong="H3117" run like|strong="H4043" the|strong="H3117" lightnings.
5 He|strong="H2351" remembereth his|strong="H1984" worthies: they|strong="H7323" stumble in|strong="H7393" their|strong="H1984" march; they|strong="H7323" make|strong="H7323" haste to|strong="H7323" the|strong="H1984" wall thereof, and|strong="H7393" the|strong="H1984" mantelet is|strong="H4758" prepared.
6 The|strong="H2142" gates of|strong="H2346" the|strong="H2142" rivers are|strong="H3782" opened, and|strong="H4116" the|strong="H2142" palace is dissolved.
7 And|strong="H8179" Huzzab is|strong="H5104" uncovered, she is|strong="H5104" carried away|strong="H4127", and|strong="H8179" her|strong="H6605" handmaids mourn as|strong="H8179" with|strong="H4127" the|strong="H6605" voice of|strong="H8179" doves, tabering upon their breasts.
8 But|strong="H5921" Nineveh|strong="H5324" hath been|strong="H5927" from|strong="H5921" of|strong="H6963" old like|strong="H5927" a|strong="H3068" pool of|strong="H6963" water: yet|strong="H5927" they|strong="H5921" flee away|strong="H1540"; Stand|strong="H5324", stand|strong="H5324", they cry; but|strong="H5921" none looketh back|strong="H5927".
9 Take|strong="H5975" ye|strong="H3117" the|strong="H3117" spoil of|strong="H3117" silver, take|strong="H5975" the|strong="H3117" spoil of|strong="H3117" gold: for|strong="H4325" there|strong="H1992" is|strong="H1931" none end of|strong="H3117" the|strong="H3117" store, the|strong="H3117" glory of|strong="H3117" all|strong="H3117" pleasant furniture.

11 Where is|strong="H3820" the|strong="H3605" den of|strong="H6440" the|strong="H3605" lions, and|strong="H6440" the|strong="H3605" feeding place|strong="H3605" of|strong="H6440" the|strong="H3605" young lions, where the|strong="H3605" lion and the|strong="H3605" lioness walked, the|strong="H3605" lion’s whelp, and|strong="H6440" none|strong="H3605" made|strong="H3605" them|strong="H6440" afraid?
12 The|strong="H8033" lion|strong="H3715" did|strong="H1980" tear in|strong="H1980" pieces enough for|strong="H8033" his|strong="H1980" whelps|strong="H1482", and|strong="H1980" strangled for|strong="H8033" his|strong="H1980" lionesses|strong="H3833", and|strong="H1980" filled his|strong="H1980" caves with|strong="H1980" prey, and|strong="H1980" his|strong="H1980" dens with|strong="H1980" ravin.
13 Behold, I|strong="H1767" am against thee, saith the|strong="H4390" LORD|strong="H3068" of|strong="H4390" hosts, and|strong="H3833" I|strong="H1767" will burn her|strong="H4390" chariots in|strong="H2963" the|strong="H4390" smoke, and|strong="H3833" the|strong="H4390" sword shall devour thy|strong="H4390" young|strong="H3833" lions|strong="H3833": and|strong="H3833" I|strong="H1767" will cut off thy|strong="H4390" prey|strong="H2964" from|strong="H1767" the|strong="H4390" earth, and|strong="H3833" the|strong="H4390" voice of|strong="H4390" thy|strong="H4390" messengers|strong="H4390" shall no more be heard.
