1 Now|strong="H1961" shalt thou|strong="H1961" gather thyself in|strong="H3478" troops, O|strong="H3068" daughter of|strong="H3117" troops: he|strong="H3117" hath|strong="H3478" laid|strong="H3478" siege against|strong="H4480" us|strong="H3117": they|strong="H3117" shall|strong="H3478" smite the|strong="H4480" judge of|strong="H3117" Israel|strong="H3478" with|strong="H3318" a|strong="H3068" rod upon|strong="H1961" the|strong="H4480" cheek.
2 But|strong="H3651" thou|strong="H5414", Beth-lehem Ephrathah, which|strong="H3478" art little|strong="H5704" to|strong="H5704" be|strong="H1121" among|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" thousands of|strong="H1121" Judah, out|strong="H5414" of|strong="H1121" thee|strong="H5414" shall|strong="H1121" one|strong="H1121" come|strong="H7725" forth|strong="H3205" unto|strong="H5414" me|strong="H5414" that|strong="H3651" is|strong="H3478" to|strong="H5704" be|strong="H1121" ruler in|strong="H5921" Israel|strong="H3478"; whose|strong="H1121" goings forth|strong="H3205" are|strong="H1121" from|strong="H7725" of|strong="H1121" old|strong="H1121", from|strong="H7725" everlasting.
3 Therefore|strong="H6258" will|strong="H3068" he|strong="H3588" give them|strong="H5975" up|strong="H5975", until|strong="H5704" the|strong="H3588" time|strong="H6258" that|strong="H3588" she|strong="H3588" which|strong="H3068" travaileth hath|strong="H3068" brought|strong="H3068" forth|strong="H5975": then|strong="H6258" the|strong="H3588" residue of|strong="H3068" his|strong="H3068" brethren shall|strong="H3068" return unto|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" children of|strong="H3068" Israel.
4 And|strong="H6965" he|strong="H3588" shall|strong="H2088" stand|strong="H6965", and|strong="H6965" shall|strong="H2088" feed|strong="H7462" his flock in|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" strength of|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" LORD|strong="H3068", in|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" majesty of|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" name of|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" LORD|strong="H3068" his|strong="H5921" God: and|strong="H6965" they|strong="H3588" shall|strong="H2088" abide|strong="H6965"; for|strong="H3588" now|strong="H1961" shall|strong="H2088" he|strong="H3588" be|strong="H1961" great unto|strong="H6965" the|strong="H5921" ends of|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" earth.
5 And|strong="H2719" this|strong="H3588" man shall|strong="H2719" be|strong="H2719" our peace: when|strong="H3588" the|strong="H3588" Assyrian shall|strong="H2719" come|strong="H1869" into|strong="H2719" our|strong="H5337" land|strong="H1366", and|strong="H2719" when|strong="H3588" he|strong="H3588" shall|strong="H2719" tread|strong="H1869" in|strong="H6607" our|strong="H5337" palaces, then|strong="H3588" shall|strong="H2719" we|strong="H3068" raise against|strong="H2719" him|strong="H3588" seven shepherds|strong="H7462", and|strong="H2719" eight principal men.
6 And|strong="H1121" they|strong="H3068" shall|strong="H3068" waste|strong="H3176" the|strong="H5921" land|strong="H7130" of|strong="H1121" Assyria with|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5921" sword, and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H5921" land|strong="H7130" of|strong="H1121" Nimrod in|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" entrances thereof|strong="H7130": and|strong="H1121" he|strong="H3068" shall|strong="H3068" deliver us|strong="H5921" from|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" Assyrian, when|strong="H1961" he|strong="H3068" cometh|strong="H3068" into|strong="H5921" our|strong="H3068" land|strong="H7130", and|strong="H1121" when|strong="H1961" he|strong="H3068" treadeth within|strong="H7130" our|strong="H3068" border|strong="H1961".
7 And|strong="H5971" the|strong="H5674" remnant|strong="H7611" of|strong="H7611" Jacob|strong="H3290" shall|strong="H5971" be|strong="H1961" in|strong="H7227" the|strong="H5674" midst|strong="H7130" of|strong="H7611" many|strong="H7227" peoples|strong="H5971" as|strong="H1961" dew from|strong="H1471" the|strong="H5674" LORD|strong="H3068", as|strong="H1961" showers upon|strong="H1961" the|strong="H5674" grass; that|strong="H5971" tarrieth not|strong="H1961" for|strong="H5971" man|strong="H5674", nor|strong="H5674" waiteth for|strong="H5971" the|strong="H5674" sons of|strong="H7611" men|strong="H5971".
8 And|strong="H3027" the|strong="H3605" remnant of|strong="H3027" Jacob shall|strong="H3027" be|strong="H3027" among|strong="H5921" the|strong="H3605" nations, in|strong="H5921" the|strong="H3605" midst of|strong="H3027" many peoples, as|strong="H3605" a|strong="H3068" lion among|strong="H5921" the|strong="H3605" beasts of|strong="H3027" the|strong="H3605" forest, as|strong="H3605" a|strong="H3068" young lion among|strong="H5921" the|strong="H3605" flocks of|strong="H3027" sheep: who|strong="H3605", if he|strong="H3605" go through|strong="H3027", treadeth down|strong="H3772" and|strong="H3027" teareth in|strong="H5921" pieces, and|strong="H3027" there|strong="H3605" is|strong="H3027" none|strong="H3605" to|strong="H5921" deliver.
9 Let|strong="H1961" thine|strong="H3117" hand be|strong="H1961" lifted up|strong="H1961" above thine|strong="H3117" adversaries, and|strong="H3068" let|strong="H1961" all|strong="H3772" thine|strong="H3117" enemies be|strong="H1961" cut|strong="H3772" off|strong="H3772".
10 And|strong="H5892" it|strong="H3772" shall|strong="H5892" come|strong="H5892" to|strong="H5892" pass in|strong="H5892" that|strong="H3605" day, saith the|strong="H3605" LORD|strong="H3068", that|strong="H3605" I|strong="H3772" will|strong="H5892" cut|strong="H3772" off|strong="H3772" thy|strong="H3772" horses out|strong="H3605" of|strong="H5892" the|strong="H3605" midst of|strong="H5892" thee|strong="H3772", and|strong="H5892" will|strong="H5892" destroy|strong="H3772" thy|strong="H3772" chariots:
11 and|strong="H3027" I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H1961" cut|strong="H3772" off|strong="H3772" the|strong="H3772" cities of|strong="H3027" thy|strong="H3027" land, and|strong="H3027" will|strong="H1961" throw down|strong="H3772" all|strong="H3772" thy|strong="H3027" strong holds:
12 And|strong="H3027" I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3027" cut|strong="H3772" off|strong="H3772" witchcrafts out|strong="H3027" of|strong="H3027" thine hand|strong="H3027"; and|strong="H3027" thou|strong="H3027" shalt have|strong="H3027" no|strong="H3808" more soothsayers:
13 and|strong="H5892" I|strong="H5892" will|strong="H5892" cut off thy|strong="H7130" graven images and|strong="H5892" thy|strong="H7130" pillars out|strong="H5428" of|strong="H5892" the|strong="H7130" midst|strong="H7130" of|strong="H5892" thee|strong="H8045"; and|strong="H5892" thou shalt no more worship the|strong="H7130" work of|strong="H5892" thine hands.
14 and|strong="H8085" I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H1471" pluck up|strong="H6213" thine|strong="H6213" Asherim out|strong="H6213" of|strong="H6213" the|strong="H8085" midst of|strong="H6213" thee|strong="H6213": and|strong="H8085" I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H1471" destroy|strong="H6213" thy|strong="H8085" cities.
15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the nations which hearkened not.
