2 But|strong="G1161" we are sure|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" the judgment|strong="G2917" of God|strong="G2316" is|strong="G2076" according to|strong="G2596" truth|strong="G0225" against|strong="G1909" them which commit|strong="G4238" such things|strong="G5108".
3 And|strong="G1161" thinkest thou|strong="G3049" this|strong="G5124", O|strong="G5599" man|strong="G0444", that judgest|strong="G2919" them which do|strong="G4238" such things|strong="G5108", and|strong="G2532" doest|strong="G4160" the same|strong="G0846", that|strong="G3754" thou|strong="G4771" shalt escape|strong="G1628" the judgment|strong="G2917" of God|strong="G2316"?
4 Or|strong="G2228" despisest thou|strong="G2706" the riches|strong="G4149" of his|strong="G0846" goodness|strong="G5544" and|strong="G2532" forbearance|strong="G0463" and|strong="G2532" longsuffering|strong="G3115"; not knowing|strong="G0050" that|strong="G3754" the goodness|strong="G5543" of God|strong="G2316" leadeth|strong="G0071" thee|strong="G4571" to|strong="G1519" repentance|strong="G3341"?
5 But|strong="G1161" after|strong="G2596" thy|strong="G4675" hardness|strong="G4643" and|strong="G2532" impenitent|strong="G0279" heart|strong="G2588" treasurest up|strong="G2343" unto thyself|strong="G4572" wrath|strong="G3709" against|strong="G1722" the day|strong="G2250" of wrath|strong="G3709" and|strong="G2532" revelation|strong="G0602" of the righteous judgment|strong="G1341" of God|strong="G2316";
6 Who|strong="G3739" will render|strong="G0591" to every man|strong="G1538" according to|strong="G2596" his|strong="G0846" deeds|strong="G2041":
7 To them|strong="G3588" who by|strong="G2596" patient continuance|strong="G5281" in well|strong="G0018" doing|strong="G2041" seek for|strong="G2212" glory|strong="G1391" and|strong="G2532" honour|strong="G5092" and|strong="G2532" immortality|strong="G0861", eternal|strong="G0166" life|strong="G2222":
8 But|strong="G1161" unto them|strong="G3588" that are contentious|strong="G2052", and|strong="G2532" do not obey|strong="G0544" the truth|strong="G0225", but|strong="G1161" obey|strong="G3982" unrighteousness|strong="G0093", indignation|strong="G2372" and|strong="G2532" wrath|strong="G3709",
9 Tribulation|strong="G2347" and|strong="G2532" anguish|strong="G4730", upon|strong="G1909" every|strong="G3956" soul|strong="G5590" of man|strong="G0444" that doeth|strong="G2716" evil|strong="G2556", of the Jew|strong="G2453" first|strong="G4412", and|strong="G5037" also|strong="G2532" of the Gentile|strong="G1672";
10 But|strong="G1161" glory|strong="G1391", honour|strong="G5092", and|strong="G2532" peace|strong="G1515", to every man|strong="G3956" that worketh|strong="G2038" good|strong="G0018", to the Jew|strong="G2453" first|strong="G4412", and|strong="G5037" also|strong="G2532" to the Gentile|strong="G1672":
11 For|strong="G1063" there is|strong="G2076" no|strong="G3756" respect of persons|strong="G4382" with|strong="G3844" God|strong="G2316".
12 For|strong="G1063" as many as|strong="G3745" have sinned|strong="G0264" without law|strong="G0460" shall|strong="G0622" also|strong="G2532" perish|strong="G0622" without law|strong="G0460": and|strong="G2532" as many as|strong="G3745" have sinned|strong="G0264" in|strong="G1722" the law|strong="G3551" shall be judged|strong="G2919" by|strong="G1223" the law|strong="G3551";
13 (For|strong="G1063" not|strong="G3756" the hearers|strong="G0202" of the law|strong="G3551" are just|strong="G1342" before|strong="G3844" God|strong="G2316", but|strong="G0235" the doers|strong="G4163" of the law|strong="G3551" shall be justified|strong="G1344".
14 For|strong="G1063" when|strong="G3752" the Gentiles|strong="G1484", which have|strong="G2192" not|strong="G3361" the law|strong="G3551", do|strong="G4160" by nature|strong="G5449" the things|strong="G3588" contained in the law|strong="G3551", these|strong="G3778", having|strong="G2192" not|strong="G3361" the law|strong="G3551", are|strong="G1526" a law|strong="G3551" unto themselves|strong="G1438":
15 Which|strong="G3748" shew|strong="G1731" the work|strong="G2041" of the law|strong="G3551" written|strong="G1123" in|strong="G1722" their|strong="G0846" hearts|strong="G2588", their|strong="G0846" conscience|strong="G4893" also bearing witness|strong="G4828", and|strong="G2532" their thoughts|strong="G3053" the mean while|strong="G3342" accusing|strong="G2723" or else|strong="G2228" excusing|strong="G0626" one another|strong="G0240";)
16 In|strong="G1722" the day|strong="G2250" when|strong="G3753" God|strong="G2316" shall judge|strong="G2919" the secrets|strong="G2927" of men|strong="G0444" by|strong="G1223" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547" according to|strong="G2596" my|strong="G3450" gospel|strong="G2098".
17 Behold|strong="G1492", thou|strong="G4771" art called|strong="G2028" a Jew|strong="G2453", and|strong="G2532" restest|strong="G1879" in the law|strong="G3551", and|strong="G2532" makest thy boast|strong="G2744" of|strong="G1722" God|strong="G2316",
18 And|strong="G2532" knowest|strong="G1097" his will|strong="G2307", and|strong="G2532" approvest|strong="G1381" the things that are more excellent|strong="G1308", being instructed|strong="G2727" out of|strong="G1537" the law|strong="G3551";
19 And|strong="G5037" art confident that|strong="G3982" thou thyself|strong="G4572" art|strong="G1511" a guide|strong="G3595" of the blind|strong="G5185", a light|strong="G5457" of them|strong="G3588" which are in|strong="G1722" darkness|strong="G4655",
20 An instructor|strong="G3810" of the foolish|strong="G0878", a teacher|strong="G1320" of babes|strong="G3516", which hast|strong="G2192" the form|strong="G3446" of knowledge|strong="G1108" and|strong="G2532" of the truth|strong="G0225" in|strong="G1722" the law|strong="G3551".
21 Thou|strong="G3588" therefore|strong="G3767" which teachest|strong="G1321" another|strong="G2087", teachest thou|strong="G1321" not|strong="G3756" thyself|strong="G4572"? thou that preachest|strong="G2784" a man should not|strong="G3361" steal|strong="G2813", dost thou steal|strong="G2813"?
22 Thou that sayest|strong="G3004" a man should not|strong="G3361" commit adultery|strong="G3431", dost thou commit adultery|strong="G3431"? thou that abhorrest|strong="G0948" idols|strong="G1497", dost thou commit sacrilege|strong="G2416"?
23 Thou that|strong="G3739" makest thy boast|strong="G2744" of|strong="G1722" the law|strong="G3551", through|strong="G1223" breaking|strong="G3847" the law|strong="G3551" dishonourest thou|strong="G0818" God|strong="G2316"?
24 For|strong="G1063" the name|strong="G3686" of God|strong="G2316" is blasphemed|strong="G0987" among|strong="G1722" the Gentiles|strong="G1484" through|strong="G1223" you|strong="G5209", as|strong="G2531" it is written|strong="G1125".
25 For|strong="G1063" circumcision|strong="G4061" verily|strong="G3303" profiteth|strong="G5623", if|strong="G1437" thou keep|strong="G4238" the law|strong="G3551": but|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1437" thou be|strong="G1510" a breaker|strong="G3848" of the law|strong="G3551", thy|strong="G4675" circumcision|strong="G4061" is made|strong="G1096" uncircumcision|strong="G0203".
26 Therefore|strong="G3767" if|strong="G1437" the uncircumcision|strong="G0203" keep|strong="G5442" the righteousness|strong="G1345" of the law|strong="G3551", shall not|strong="G3780" his|strong="G0846" uncircumcision|strong="G0203" be counted|strong="G3049" for|strong="G1519" circumcision|strong="G4061"?
27 And|strong="G2532" shall not|strong="G2919" uncircumcision|strong="G0203" which is by|strong="G1537" nature|strong="G5449", if it fulfil|strong="G5055" the law|strong="G3551", judge|strong="G2919" thee|strong="G4571", who|strong="G3588" by|strong="G1223" the letter|strong="G1121" and|strong="G2532" circumcision|strong="G4061" dost transgress|strong="G3848" the law|strong="G3551"?
28 For|strong="G1063" he|strong="G3588" is|strong="G2076" not|strong="G3756" a Jew|strong="G2453", which is one|strong="G3588" outwardly|strong="G5318"; neither|strong="G3761" is that circumcision|strong="G4061", which is outward|strong="G5318" in|strong="G1722" the flesh|strong="G4561":
29 But|strong="G0235" he|strong="G3588" is a Jew|strong="G2453", which is one|strong="G3588" inwardly|strong="G2927"; and|strong="G2532" circumcision|strong="G4061" is that of the heart|strong="G2588", in|strong="G1722" the spirit|strong="G4151", and not|strong="G3756" in the letter|strong="G1121"; whose|strong="G3739" praise|strong="G1868" is not|strong="G3756" of|strong="G1537" men|strong="G0444", but|strong="G0235" of|strong="G1537" God|strong="G2316".
