1 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",
2 Speak|strong="H1696" unto Aaron|strong="H0175", and say|strong="H0559" unto him, When thou lightest|strong="H5927" the lamps|strong="H5216", the seven|strong="H7651" lamps|strong="H5216" shall give light|strong="H0215" over against|strong="H6440" the candlestick|strong="H4501".
3 And Aaron|strong="H0175" did|strong="H6213" so; he lighted|strong="H5927" the lamps|strong="H5216" thereof over against|strong="H4136" the candlestick|strong="H4501", as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* commanded|strong="H6680" Moses|strong="H4872".
4 And this work|strong="H4639" of the candlestick|strong="H4501" was of beaten|strong="H4749" gold|strong="H2091", unto the shaft|strong="H3409" thereof, unto the flowers|strong="H6525" thereof, was beaten work|strong="H4749": according unto the pattern|strong="H4758" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had shewed|strong="H7200" Moses|strong="H4872", so he made|strong="H6213" the candlestick|strong="H4501".
5 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",
6 Take|strong="H3947" the Levites|strong="H3881" from among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", and cleanse|strong="H2891" them.
7 And thus shalt thou do|strong="H6213" unto them, to cleanse|strong="H2891" them: Sprinkle|strong="H5137" water|strong="H4325" of purifying|strong="H2403" upon them, and let them shave|strong="H8593" all their flesh|strong="H1320", and let them wash|strong="H3526" their clothes|strong="H0899", and so make themselves clean|strong="H2891".
8 Then let them take|strong="H3947" a young|strong="H1121" bullock|strong="H6499" with his meat offering|strong="H4503", even fine flour|strong="H5560" mingled|strong="H1101" with oil|strong="H8081", and another|strong="H8145" young|strong="H1121" bullock|strong="H6499" shalt thou take|strong="H3947" for a sin offering|strong="H2403".
9 And thou shalt bring|strong="H7126" the Levites|strong="H3881" before|strong="H6440" the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150": and thou shalt gather|strong="H6950" the whole assembly|strong="H5712" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" together|strong="H6950":
10 And thou shalt bring|strong="H7126" the Levites|strong="H3881" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: and the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" shall put|strong="H5564" their hands|strong="H3027" upon the Levites|strong="H3881":
11 And Aaron|strong="H0175" shall offer|strong="H5130" the Levites|strong="H3881" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* for an offering|strong="H8573" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", that they may execute|strong="H5647" the service|strong="H5656" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
12 And the Levites|strong="H3881" shall lay|strong="H5564" their hands|strong="H3027" upon the heads|strong="H7218" of the bullocks|strong="H6499": and thou shalt offer|strong="H6213" the one|strong="H0259" for a sin offering|strong="H2403", and the other|strong="H0259" for a burnt offering|strong="H5930", unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, to make an atonement|strong="H3722" for the Levites|strong="H3881".
13 And thou shalt set|strong="H5975" the Levites|strong="H3881" before|strong="H6440" Aaron|strong="H0175", and before|strong="H6440" his sons|strong="H1121", and offer|strong="H5130" them for an offering|strong="H8573" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
14 Thus shalt thou separate|strong="H0914" the Levites|strong="H3881" from among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478": and the Levites|strong="H3881" shall be mine.
15 And after|strong="H0310" that shall the Levites|strong="H3881" go in|strong="H0935" to do the service|strong="H5647" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150": and thou shalt cleanse|strong="H2891" them, and offer|strong="H5130" them for an offering|strong="H8573".
16 For they are wholly given|strong="H5414" unto me from among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478"; instead of such as open|strong="H6363" every womb|strong="H7358", even instead of the firstborn|strong="H1060" of all the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", have I taken|strong="H3947" them unto me.
17 For all the firstborn|strong="H1060" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" are mine, both man|strong="H0120" and beast|strong="H0929": on the day|strong="H3117" that I smote|strong="H5221" every firstborn|strong="H1060" in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" I sanctified|strong="H6942" them for myself.
18 And I have taken|strong="H3947" the Levites|strong="H3881" for all the firstborn|strong="H1060" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478".
19 And I have given|strong="H5414" the Levites|strong="H3881" as a gift|strong="H5414" to Aaron|strong="H0175" and to his sons|strong="H1121" from among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", to do|strong="H5647" the service|strong="H5656" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" in the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150", and to make an atonement|strong="H3722" for the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478": that there be no plague|strong="H5063" among the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", when the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" come nigh|strong="H5066" unto the sanctuary|strong="H6944".
20 And Moses|strong="H4872", and Aaron|strong="H0175", and all the congregation|strong="H5712" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", did|strong="H6213" to the Levites|strong="H3881" according unto all that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* commanded|strong="H6680" Moses|strong="H4872" concerning the Levites|strong="H3881", so did|strong="H6213" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" unto them.
21 And the Levites|strong="H3881" were purified|strong="H2398", and they washed|strong="H3526" their clothes|strong="H0899"; and Aaron|strong="H0175" offered|strong="H5130" them as an offering|strong="H8573" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and Aaron|strong="H0175" made an atonement|strong="H3722" for them to cleanse|strong="H2891" them.
22 And after|strong="H0310" that went|strong="H0935" the Levites|strong="H3881" in to do|strong="H5647" their service|strong="H5656" in the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150" before|strong="H6440" Aaron|strong="H0175", and before|strong="H6440" his sons|strong="H1121": as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had commanded|strong="H6680" Moses|strong="H4872" concerning the Levites|strong="H3881", so did|strong="H6213" they unto them.
23 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",
24 This is it that belongeth unto the Levites|strong="H3881": from twenty|strong="H6242" and five|strong="H2568" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121" and upward|strong="H4605" they shall go in|strong="H0935" to wait|strong="H6633" upon the service|strong="H5656" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150":
25 And from the age|strong="H1121" of fifty|strong="H2572" years|strong="H8141" they shall cease|strong="H7725" waiting|strong="H6635" upon the service|strong="H5656" thereof, and shall serve|strong="H5647" no more:
26 But shall minister|strong="H8334" with their brethren|strong="H0251" in the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150", to keep|strong="H8104" the charge|strong="H4931", and shall do|strong="H5647" no service|strong="H5656". Thus shalt thou do|strong="H6213" unto the Levites|strong="H3881" touching their charge|strong="H4931".
