1 When|strong="G1161" he|strong="G0846" was come down|strong="G2597" from|strong="G0575" the mountain|strong="G3735", great|strong="G4183" multitudes|strong="G3793" followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
2 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", there came|strong="G2064" a leper|strong="G3015" and worshipped|strong="G4352" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", Lord|strong="G2962", if|strong="G1437" thou wilt|strong="G2309", thou canst|strong="G1410" make|strong="G2511" me|strong="G3165" clean|strong="G2511".
3 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" put forth|strong="G1614" his hand|strong="G5495", and touched|strong="G0680" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", \+w I will|strong="G2309"\+w*; \+w be thou clean|strong="G2511"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" immediately|strong="G2112" his|strong="G0846" leprosy|strong="G3014" was cleansed|strong="G2511".
4 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" saith|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w See|strong="G3708"\+w* \+w thou tell|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w no man|strong="G3367"\+w*; \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w go thy way|strong="G5217"\+w*, \+w shew|strong="G1166"\+w* \+w thyself|strong="G4572"\+w* \+w to the priest|strong="G2409"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w offer|strong="G4374"\+w* \+w the gift|strong="G1435"\+w* \+w that|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w Moses|strong="G3475"\+w* \+w commanded|strong="G4367"\+w*, \+w for|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w a testimony|strong="G3142"\+w* \+w unto them|strong="G0846"\+w*.
5 And|strong="G1161" when|strong="G1525" Jesus|strong="G2424" was entered|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" Capernaum|strong="G2584", there came|strong="G4334" unto him|strong="G0846" a centurion|strong="G1543", beseeching|strong="G3870" him|strong="G0846",
6 And|strong="G2532" saying|strong="G3004", Lord|strong="G2962", my|strong="G3450" servant|strong="G3816" lieth|strong="G0906" at|strong="G1722" home|strong="G3614" sick of the palsy|strong="G3885", grievously|strong="G1171" tormented|strong="G0928".
7 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" saith|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w I|strong="G1473"\+w* \+w will come and|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w heal|strong="G2323"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*.
8 The centurion|strong="G1543" answered|strong="G0611" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G5346", Lord|strong="G2962", I am|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" worthy|strong="G2425" that|strong="G2443" thou shouldest come|strong="G1525" under|strong="G5259" my|strong="G3450" roof|strong="G4721": but|strong="G0235" speak|strong="G2036" the word|strong="G3056" only|strong="G3440", and|strong="G2532" my|strong="G3450" servant|strong="G3816" shall be healed|strong="G2390".
9 For|strong="G1063" I|strong="G1473" am|strong="G1510" a man|strong="G0444" under|strong="G5259" authority|strong="G1849", having|strong="G2192" soldiers|strong="G4757" under|strong="G5259" me|strong="G1683": and|strong="G2532" I say|strong="G3004" to this|strong="G5129" man, Go|strong="G4198", and|strong="G2532" he goeth|strong="G4198"; and|strong="G2532" to another|strong="G0243", Come|strong="G2064", and|strong="G2532" he cometh|strong="G2064"; and|strong="G2532" to|strong="G1401" my|strong="G3450" servant|strong="G1401", Do|strong="G4160" this|strong="G5124", and|strong="G2532" he doeth|strong="G4160" it.
10 When|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" heard|strong="G0191" it, he marvelled|strong="G2296", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036" to them that followed|strong="G0190", \+w Verily|strong="G0281"\+w* \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w I have|strong="G2147"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3761"\+w* \+w found|strong="G2147"\+w* \+w so great|strong="G5118"\+w* \+w faith|strong="G4102"\+w*, no, \+w not|strong="G3761"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w Israel|strong="G2474"\+w*.
11 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w That|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w many|strong="G4183"\+w* \+w shall come|strong="G2240"\+w* \+w from|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w the east|strong="G0395"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w west|strong="G1424"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w shall sit down|strong="G0347"\+w* \+w with|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w Abraham|strong="G0011"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w Isaac|strong="G2464"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w Jacob|strong="G2384"\+w*, \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the kingdom|strong="G0932"\+w* \+w of heaven|strong="G3772"\+w*.
12 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w the children|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of the kingdom|strong="G0932"\+w* \+w shall be cast out|strong="G1544"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w outer|strong="G1857"\+w* \+w darkness|strong="G4655"\+w*: \+w there|strong="G1563"\+w* \+w shall be|strong="G2071"\+w* \+w weeping|strong="G2805"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w gnashing|strong="G1030"\+w* \+w of teeth|strong="G3599"\+w*.
13 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036" unto the centurion|strong="G1543", \+w Go thy way|strong="G5217"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w as|strong="G5613"\+w* \+w thou hast believed|strong="G4100"\+w*, \+add so\+add* \+w be it done|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w unto thee|strong="G4671"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" servant|strong="G3816" was healed|strong="G2390" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G5610" selfsame|strong="G1565" hour|strong="G5610".
14 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G2064" Jesus|strong="G2424" was come|strong="G2064" into|strong="G1519" Peter’s|strong="G4074" house|strong="G3614", he saw|strong="G1492" his|strong="G0846" wife’s mother|strong="G3994" laid|strong="G0906", and|strong="G2532" sick of a fever|strong="G4445".
15 And|strong="G2532" he touched|strong="G0680" her|strong="G0846" hand|strong="G5495", and|strong="G2532" the fever|strong="G4446" left|strong="G0863" her|strong="G0846": and|strong="G2532" she arose|strong="G1453", and|strong="G2532" ministered|strong="G1247" unto them|strong="G0846".
16 When|strong="G1161" the even|strong="G3798" was come|strong="G1096", they brought|strong="G4374" unto him|strong="G0846" many|strong="G4183" that were possessed with devils|strong="G1139": and|strong="G2532" he cast out|strong="G1544" the spirits|strong="G4151" with|strong="G3056" his word|strong="G3056", and|strong="G2532" healed|strong="G2323" all|strong="G3956" that were|strong="G2192" sick|strong="G2560":
17 That|strong="G3704" it might be fulfilled|strong="G4137" which was spoken|strong="G4483" by|strong="G1223" Esaias|strong="G2268" the prophet|strong="G4396", saying|strong="G3004", Himself|strong="G0846" took|strong="G2983" our|strong="G2257" infirmities|strong="G0769", and|strong="G2532" bare|strong="G0941" our sicknesses|strong="G3554".
18 Now|strong="G1161" when|strong="G1492" Jesus|strong="G2424" saw|strong="G1492" great|strong="G4183" multitudes|strong="G3793" about|strong="G4012" him|strong="G0846", he gave commandment|strong="G2753" to depart|strong="G0565" unto|strong="G1519" the other side|strong="G4008".
19 And|strong="G2532" a certain|strong="G1520" scribe|strong="G1122" came|strong="G4334", and said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Master|strong="G1320", I will follow|strong="G0190" thee|strong="G4671" whithersoever|strong="G3699" thou goest|strong="G0565".
20 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" saith|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w The foxes|strong="G0258"\+w* \+w have|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w holes|strong="G5454"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the birds|strong="G4071"\+w* \+w of the air|strong="G3772"\+w* \+add have\+add* \+w nests|strong="G2682"\+w*; \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w hath|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w where|strong="G4226"\+w* \+w to lay|strong="G2827"\+w* \+add his\+add* \+w head|strong="G2776"\+w*.
21 And|strong="G1161" another|strong="G2087" of|strong="G3101" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Lord|strong="G2962", suffer|strong="G2010" me|strong="G3427" first|strong="G4412" to go|strong="G0565" and|strong="G2532" bury|strong="G2290" my|strong="G3450" father|strong="G3962".
22 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Follow|strong="G0190"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w let|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w the dead|strong="G3498"\+w* \+w bury|strong="G2290"\+w* \+w their|strong="G1438"\+w* \+w dead|strong="G3498"\+w*.
23 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G1684" he|strong="G0846" was entered|strong="G1684" into|strong="G1519" a ship|strong="G4143", his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
24 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", there arose|strong="G1096" a great|strong="G3173" tempest|strong="G4578" in|strong="G1722" the sea|strong="G2281", insomuch that|strong="G5620" the ship|strong="G4143" was covered|strong="G2572" with|strong="G5259" the waves|strong="G2949": but|strong="G1161" he|strong="G0846" was asleep|strong="G2518".
25 And|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" came to|strong="G4334" him, and awoke|strong="G1453" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", Lord|strong="G2962", save|strong="G4982" us|strong="G2248": we perish|strong="G0622".
26 And|strong="G2532" he saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Why|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w are ye|strong="G2075"\+w* \+w fearful|strong="G1169"\+w*, \+w O ye of little faith|strong="G3640"\+w*? Then|strong="G5119" he arose|strong="G1453", and rebuked|strong="G2008" the winds|strong="G0417" and|strong="G2532" the sea|strong="G2281"; and|strong="G2532" there was|strong="G1096" a great|strong="G3173" calm|strong="G1055".
27 But|strong="G1161" the men|strong="G0444" marvelled|strong="G2296", saying|strong="G3004", What manner of man|strong="G4217" is|strong="G2076" this|strong="G3778", that|strong="G3754" even|strong="G2532" the winds|strong="G0417" and|strong="G2532" the sea|strong="G2281" obey|strong="G5219" him|strong="G0846"!
28 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G2064" he|strong="G0846" was come|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1519" the other side|strong="G4008" into|strong="G1519" the country|strong="G5561" of the Gergesenes|strong="G1086", there met|strong="G5221" him|strong="G0846" two|strong="G1417" possessed with devils|strong="G1139", coming out|strong="G1831" of|strong="G1537" the tombs|strong="G3419", exceeding|strong="G3029" fierce|strong="G5467", so that|strong="G5620" no|strong="G3361" man|strong="G5100" might|strong="G2480" pass|strong="G3928" by|strong="G1223" that|strong="G1565" way|strong="G3598".
29 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", they cried out|strong="G2896", saying|strong="G3004", What|strong="G5101" have we|strong="G2254" to do|strong="G2532" with thee|strong="G4671", Jesus|strong="G2424", thou Son|strong="G5207" of God|strong="G2316"? art thou come|strong="G2064" hither|strong="G5602" to torment|strong="G0928" us|strong="G2248" before|strong="G4253" the time|strong="G2540"?
30 And|strong="G1161" there was|strong="G2258" a good way off|strong="G3112" from|strong="G0575" them|strong="G0846" an herd|strong="G0034" of many|strong="G4183" swine|strong="G5519" feeding|strong="G1006".
31 So|strong="G1161" the devils|strong="G1142" besought|strong="G3870" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", If|strong="G1487" thou cast|strong="G1544" us|strong="G2248" out|strong="G1544", suffer|strong="G2010" us|strong="G2254" to go away|strong="G0565" into|strong="G1519" the herd|strong="G0034" of swine|strong="G5519".
32 And|strong="G2532" he said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Go|strong="G5217"\+w*. And|strong="G1161" when they were come out|strong="G1831", they went|strong="G0565" into|strong="G1519" the herd|strong="G0034" of swine|strong="G5519": and|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", the whole|strong="G3956" herd|strong="G0034" of swine|strong="G5519" ran violently|strong="G3729" down|strong="G2596" a steep place|strong="G2911" into|strong="G1519" the sea|strong="G2281", and|strong="G2532" perished|strong="G0599" in|strong="G1722" the waters|strong="G5204".
33 And|strong="G1161" they that kept them|strong="G1006" fled|strong="G5343", and|strong="G2532" went their ways|strong="G0565" into|strong="G1519" the city|strong="G4172", and told|strong="G0518" every thing|strong="G3956", and|strong="G2532" what was befallen|strong="G3588" to the possessed of the devils|strong="G1139".
34 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", the whole|strong="G3956" city|strong="G4172" came out|strong="G1831" to|strong="G1519" meet|strong="G4877" Jesus|strong="G2424": and|strong="G2532" when they saw|strong="G1492" him|strong="G0846", they besought|strong="G3870" him that|strong="G3704" he would depart|strong="G3327" out|strong="G0575" of|strong="G3725" their|strong="G0846" coasts|strong="G3725".
