5 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w they made light of|strong="G0272"\+w* \+add it\+add*, \+w and went their ways|strong="G0565"\+w*, \+w one|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w his|strong="G2398"\+w* \+w farm|strong="G0068"\+w*, \+w another|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w merchandise|strong="G1711"\+w*:
6 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w the remnant|strong="G3062"\+w* \+w took|strong="G2902"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w servants|strong="G1401"\+w*, \+w and entreated them spitefully|strong="G5195"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w slew|strong="G0615"\+w* \+add them\+add*.
7 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w when|strong="G0191"\+w* \+w the king|strong="G0935"\+w* \+w heard|strong="G0191"\+w* \+add thereof\+add*, \+w he was wroth|strong="G3710"\+w*: \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he sent forth|strong="G3992"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w armies|strong="G4753"\+w*, \+w and destroyed|strong="G0622"\+w* \+w those|strong="G1565"\+w* \+w murderers|strong="G5406"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w burned up|strong="G1714"\+w* \+w their|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w city|strong="G4172"\+w*.
8 \+w Then|strong="G5119"\+w* \+w saith he|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1401"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w servants|strong="G1401"\+w*, \+w The wedding|strong="G1062"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w ready|strong="G2092"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w they which were bidden|strong="G2564"\+w* \+w were|strong="G2258"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w worthy|strong="G0514"\+w*.
9 \+w Go ye|strong="G4198"\+w* \+w therefore|strong="G3767"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w the highways|strong="G3598"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w as many|strong="G3745"\+w* \+w as|strong="G0302"\+w* \+w ye shall find|strong="G2147"\+w*, \+w bid|strong="G2564"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the marriage|strong="G1062"\+w*.
10 \+w So|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w those|strong="G1565"\+w* \+w servants|strong="G1401"\+w* \+w went out|strong="G1831"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the highways|strong="G3598"\+w*, \+w and gathered together|strong="G4863"\+w* \+w all|strong="G3956"\+w* \+w as many as|strong="G3745"\+w* \+w they found|strong="G2147"\+w*, \+w both|strong="G5037"\+w* \+w bad|strong="G4190"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w good|strong="G0018"\+w*: \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the wedding|strong="G1062"\+w* \+w was furnished|strong="G4130"\+w* \+w with guests|strong="G0345"\+w*.
11 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w when|strong="G1525"\+w* \+w the king|strong="G0935"\+w* \+w came in|strong="G1525"\+w* \+w to see|strong="G2300"\+w* \+w the guests|strong="G0345"\+w*, \+w he saw|strong="G1492"\+w* \+w there|strong="G1563"\+w* \+w a man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w which had|strong="G1746"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w on|strong="G1746"\+w* \+w a wedding|strong="G1062"\+w* \+w garment|strong="G1742"\+w*:
12 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he saith|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w Friend|strong="G2083"\+w*, \+w how|strong="G4459"\+w* \+w camest thou in|strong="G1525"\+w* \+w hither|strong="G5602"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w having|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w a|strong="G1742"\+w* \+w wedding|strong="G1062"\+w* \+w garment|strong="G1742"\+w*? \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w he was speechless|strong="G5392"\+w*.

14 \+w For|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w many|strong="G4183"\+w* \+w are|strong="G1526"\+w* \+w called|strong="G2822"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w few|strong="G3641"\+w* \+add are\+add* \+w chosen|strong="G1588"\+w*.
15 Then|strong="G5119" went|strong="G4198" the Pharisees|strong="G5330", and took|strong="G2983" counsel|strong="G4824" how|strong="G3704" they might entangle|strong="G3802" him|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1722" his talk|strong="G3056".
16 And|strong="G2532" they sent out|strong="G0649" unto him|strong="G0846" their|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" with|strong="G3326" the Herodians|strong="G2265", saying|strong="G3004", Master|strong="G1320", we know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" thou art|strong="G1488" true|strong="G0227", and|strong="G2532" teachest|strong="G1321" the way|strong="G3598" of God|strong="G2316" in|strong="G1722" truth|strong="G0225", neither|strong="G3756" carest|strong="G3199" thou|strong="G4671" for|strong="G4012" any|strong="G3762" man: for|strong="G1063" thou regardest|strong="G0991" not|strong="G3756" the person|strong="G4383" of men|strong="G0444".
17 Tell|strong="G2036" us|strong="G2254" therefore|strong="G3767", What|strong="G5101" thinkest|strong="G1380" thou|strong="G4671"? Is it lawful|strong="G1832" to give|strong="G1325" tribute|strong="G2778" unto Caesar|strong="G2541", or|strong="G2228" not|strong="G3756"?
18 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" perceived|strong="G1097" their|strong="G0846" wickedness|strong="G4189", and said|strong="G2036", \+w Why|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w tempt ye|strong="G3985"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3165"\+w*, \+add ye\+add* \+w hypocrites|strong="G5273"\+w*?
19 \+w Shew|strong="G1925"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w* \+w the tribute|strong="G2778"\+w* \+w money|strong="G3546"\+w*. And|strong="G1161" they brought|strong="G4374" unto him|strong="G0846" a penny|strong="G1220".
20 And|strong="G2532" he saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Whose|strong="G5101"\+w* \+add is\+add* \+w this|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w image|strong="G1504"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w superscription|strong="G1923"\+w*?
21 They say|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", Cæsar’s|strong="G2541". Then|strong="G5119" saith he|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Render|strong="G0591"\+w* \+w therefore|strong="G3767"\+w* \+w unto Cæsar|strong="G2541"\+w* \+w the things which are Cæsar’s|strong="G2541"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w unto God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w the things that are God’s|strong="G2316"\+w*.
22 When|strong="G2532" they had heard|strong="G0191" these words, they marvelled|strong="G2296", and|strong="G2532" left|strong="G0863" him|strong="G0846", and went their way|strong="G0565".
23 The|strong="G2250" same|strong="G1565" day|strong="G2250" came|strong="G4334" to him|strong="G0846" the Sadducees|strong="G4523", which say that|strong="G3004" there is|strong="G1511" no|strong="G3361" resurrection|strong="G0386", and|strong="G2532" asked|strong="G1905" him|strong="G0846",
24 Saying|strong="G3004", Master|strong="G1320", Moses|strong="G3475" said|strong="G2036", If|strong="G1437" a man|strong="G5100" die|strong="G0599", having|strong="G2192" no|strong="G3361" children|strong="G5043", his|strong="G0846" brother|strong="G0080" shall marry|strong="G1918" his|strong="G0846" wife|strong="G1135", and|strong="G2532" raise up|strong="G0450" seed|strong="G4690" unto|strong="G0080" his|strong="G0846" brother|strong="G0080".
25 Now|strong="G1161" there were|strong="G2258" with|strong="G3844" us|strong="G2254" seven|strong="G2033" brethren|strong="G0080": and|strong="G2532" the first|strong="G4413", when he had married a wife|strong="G1060", deceased|strong="G5053", and|strong="G2532", having|strong="G2192" no|strong="G3361" issue|strong="G4690", left|strong="G0863" his|strong="G0846" wife|strong="G1135" unto|strong="G0080" his|strong="G0846" brother|strong="G0080":
26 Likewise|strong="G3668" the second|strong="G1208" also|strong="G2532", and|strong="G2532" the third|strong="G5154", unto|strong="G2193" the seventh|strong="G2033".
27 And|strong="G1161" last|strong="G5305" of all|strong="G3956" the woman|strong="G1135" died|strong="G0599" also|strong="G2532".
28 Therefore|strong="G3767" in|strong="G1722" the resurrection|strong="G0386" whose|strong="G5101" wife|strong="G1135" shall she be|strong="G2071" of the seven|strong="G2033"? for|strong="G1063" they|strong="G2192" all|strong="G3956" had|strong="G2192" her|strong="G0846".
29 Jesus|strong="G2424" answered|strong="G0611" and said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Ye do err|strong="G4105"\+w*, \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w knowing|strong="G1492"\+w* \+w the scriptures|strong="G1124"\+w*, \+w nor|strong="G3366"\+w* \+w the power|strong="G1411"\+w* \+w of God|strong="G2316"\+w*.
30 \+w For|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the resurrection|strong="G0386"\+w* \+w they|strong="G1060"\+w* \+w neither|strong="G3777"\+w* \+w marry|strong="G1060"\+w*, \+w nor|strong="G3777"\+w* \+w are given in marriage|strong="G1547"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w are|strong="G1526"\+w* \+w as|strong="G5613"\+w* \+w the angels|strong="G0032"\+w* \+w of God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w heaven|strong="G3772"\+w*.

33 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G0191" the multitude|strong="G3793" heard|strong="G0191" this, they were astonished|strong="G1605" at|strong="G1909" his|strong="G0846" doctrine|strong="G1322".
34 But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G0191" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" had heard|strong="G0191" that|strong="G3754" he had put|strong="G5392" the Sadducees|strong="G4523" to silence|strong="G5392", they were gathered|strong="G4863" together|strong="G1909".
35 Then|strong="G2532" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G1537" them|strong="G0846", which was a lawyer|strong="G3544", asked|strong="G1905" him a question, tempting|strong="G3985" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" saying|strong="G3004",
36 Master|strong="G1320", which|strong="G4169" is the|strong="G1785" great|strong="G3173" commandment|strong="G1785" in|strong="G1722" the law|strong="G3551"?

41 While|strong="G1161" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" were gathered together|strong="G4863", Jesus|strong="G2424" asked|strong="G1905" them|strong="G0846",
42 Saying|strong="G3004", \+w What|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w think|strong="G1380"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5213"\+w* \+w of|strong="G4012"\+w* \+w Christ|strong="G5547"\+w*? \+w whose|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w is he|strong="G2076"\+w*? They say|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", The Son of David|strong="G1138".

46 And|strong="G2532" no man|strong="G3762" was able|strong="G1410" to answer|strong="G0611" him|strong="G0846" a word|strong="G3056", neither|strong="G3761" durst|strong="G5111" any|strong="G5100" man from|strong="G0575" that|strong="G1565" day|strong="G2250" forth|strong="G0575" ask|strong="G1905" him|strong="G0846" any more|strong="G3765" questions.
