1 For, behold, the day|strong="H3117" cometh|strong="H0935", that shall burn|strong="H1197" as an oven|strong="H8574"; and all the proud|strong="H2086", yea, and all that do|strong="H6213" wickedly|strong="H7564", shall be stubble|strong="H7179": and the day|strong="H3117" that cometh|strong="H0935" shall burn them up|strong="H3857", saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", that it shall leave|strong="H5800" them neither root|strong="H8328" nor branch|strong="H6057".
2 But unto you that fear|strong="H3373" my name|strong="H8034" shall the Sun|strong="H8121" of righteousness|strong="H6666" arise|strong="H2224" with healing|strong="H4832" in his wings|strong="H3671"; and ye shall go forth|strong="H3318", and grow up|strong="H6335" as calves|strong="H5695" of the stall|strong="H4770".
3 And ye shall tread down|strong="H6072" the wicked|strong="H7563"; for they shall be ashes|strong="H0665" under the soles|strong="H3709" of your feet|strong="H7272" in the day|strong="H3117" that I shall do|strong="H6213" this, saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635".
4 Remember|strong="H2142" ye the law|strong="H8451" of Moses|strong="H4872" my servant|strong="H5650", which I commanded|strong="H6680" unto him in Horeb|strong="H2722" for all Israel|strong="H3478", with the statutes|strong="H2706" and judgments|strong="H4941".
5 Behold, I will send|strong="H7971" you Elijah|strong="H0452" the prophet|strong="H5030" before|strong="H6440" the coming|strong="H0935" of the great|strong="H1419" and dreadful|strong="H3372" day|strong="H3117" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*:
6 And he shall turn|strong="H7725" the heart|strong="H3820" of the fathers|strong="H0001" to the children|strong="H1121", and the heart|strong="H3820" of the children|strong="H1121" to their fathers|strong="H0001", lest I come|strong="H0935" and smite|strong="H5221" the earth|strong="H0776" with a curse|strong="H2764".
