6 For|strong="G1063" he wist|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" what|strong="G5101" to say|strong="G2980"; for|strong="G1063" they were|strong="G2258" sore afraid|strong="G1630".
7 And|strong="G2532" there was|strong="G1096" a cloud|strong="G3507" that overshadowed|strong="G1982" them|strong="G0846": and|strong="G2532" a voice|strong="G5456" came|strong="G2064" out of|strong="G1537" the cloud|strong="G3507", saying|strong="G3004", This|strong="G3778" is|strong="G2076" my|strong="G3450" beloved|strong="G0027" Son|strong="G5207": hear|strong="G0191" him|strong="G0846".

10 And|strong="G2532" they kept|strong="G2902" that saying|strong="G3056" with|strong="G4314" themselves|strong="G1438", questioning one with another|strong="G4802" what|strong="G5101" the rising|strong="G0450" from|strong="G1537" the dead|strong="G3498" should mean|strong="G2076".
11 And|strong="G2532" they asked|strong="G1905" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", Why|strong="G3754" say|strong="G3004" the scribes|strong="G1122" that|strong="G3754" Elias|strong="G2243" must|strong="G1163" first|strong="G4412" come|strong="G2064"?

22 And|strong="G2532" ofttimes|strong="G4178" it hath cast|strong="G0906" him|strong="G0846" into|strong="G1519" the fire|strong="G4442", and|strong="G2532" into|strong="G1519" the waters|strong="G5204", to|strong="G2443" destroy|strong="G0622" him|strong="G0846": but|strong="G0235" if|strong="G1487" thou canst do|strong="G1410" any thing|strong="G5100", have compassion|strong="G4697" on|strong="G1909" us|strong="G2248", and help|strong="G0997" us|strong="G2254".
23 Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w If|strong="G1487"\+w* \+w thou canst|strong="G1410"\+w* \+w believe|strong="G4100"\+w*, \+w all things|strong="G3956"\+w* \+add are\+add* \+w possible|strong="G1415"\+w* \+w to him that believeth|strong="G4100"\+w*.

26 And|strong="G2532" the spirit cried|strong="G2896", and|strong="G2532" rent|strong="G4682" him|strong="G0846" sore|strong="G4183", and came out|strong="G1831" of him: and|strong="G2532" he was|strong="G1096" as|strong="G5616" one dead|strong="G3498"; insomuch that|strong="G5620" many|strong="G4183" said|strong="G3754", He is dead|strong="G0599".
27 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" took|strong="G2902" him|strong="G0846" by the hand|strong="G5495", and lifted|strong="G1453" him|strong="G0846" up|strong="G1453"; and|strong="G2532" he arose|strong="G0450".
28 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G1525" he was come|strong="G0846" into|strong="G1519" the house|strong="G3624", his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" asked|strong="G1905" him|strong="G0846" privately|strong="G2596", Why|strong="G3754" could|strong="G1410" not|strong="G3756" we|strong="G2249" cast|strong="G1544" him|strong="G0846" out|strong="G1544"?

30 And|strong="G2532" they departed|strong="G1831" thence|strong="G1564", and passed|strong="G3899" through|strong="G1223" Galilee|strong="G1056"; and|strong="G2532" he would|strong="G2309" not|strong="G3756" that|strong="G2443" any man|strong="G5100" should know|strong="G1097" it.
31 For|strong="G1063" he taught|strong="G1321" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w The Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w is delivered|strong="G3860"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the hands|strong="G5495"\+w* \+w of men|strong="G0444"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w they shall kill|strong="G0615"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w after that he is killed|strong="G0615"\+w*, \+w he shall rise|strong="G0450"\+w* \+w the|strong="G2250"\+w* \+w third|strong="G5154"\+w* \+w day|strong="G2250"\+w*.
32 But|strong="G1161" they|strong="G3588" understood not|strong="G0050" that saying|strong="G4487", and|strong="G2532" were afraid|strong="G5399" to ask|strong="G1905" him|strong="G0846".
33 And|strong="G2532" he came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1519" Capernaum|strong="G2584": and|strong="G2532" being|strong="G1096" in|strong="G1722" the house|strong="G3614" he asked|strong="G1905" them|strong="G0846", \+w What was it that|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w ye disputed|strong="G1260"\+w* \+w among|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w yourselves|strong="G1438"\+w* \+w by|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the way|strong="G3598"\+w*?
34 But|strong="G1161" they|strong="G3588" held their peace|strong="G4623": for|strong="G1063" by|strong="G1722" the way|strong="G3598" they had disputed|strong="G1256" among|strong="G4314" themselves|strong="G0240", who|strong="G5101" should be the greatest|strong="G3187".

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
