1 And|strong="G2532" again|strong="G3825" he entered|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" Capernaum|strong="G2584" after|strong="G1223" some days|strong="G2250"; and|strong="G2532" it was noised|strong="G0191" that|strong="G3754" he was|strong="G2076" in|strong="G1519" the house|strong="G3624".
2 And|strong="G2532" straightway|strong="G2112" many|strong="G4183" were gathered together|strong="G4863", insomuch that|strong="G5620" there was no room|strong="G3371" to receive|strong="G5562" them, no, not so much as|strong="G3366" about|strong="G4314" the door|strong="G2374": and|strong="G2532" he preached|strong="G2980" the word|strong="G3056" unto them|strong="G0846".
3 And|strong="G2532" they come|strong="G2064" unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846", bringing|strong="G5342" one sick of the palsy|strong="G3885", which was borne|strong="G0142" of|strong="G5259" four|strong="G5064".
4 And|strong="G2532" when they could|strong="G1410" not|strong="G3361" come nigh unto|strong="G4331" him|strong="G0846" for|strong="G1223" the press|strong="G3793", they uncovered|strong="G0648" the roof|strong="G4721" where|strong="G3699" he was|strong="G2258": and|strong="G2532" when they had broken|strong="G1846" it up|strong="G1846", they let down|strong="G5465" the bed|strong="G2895" wherein|strong="G3739" the sick of the palsy|strong="G3885" lay|strong="G2621".
5 When|strong="G1492" Jesus|strong="G2424" saw|strong="G1492" their|strong="G0846" faith|strong="G4102", he said|strong="G3004" unto the sick of the palsy|strong="G3885", \+w Son|strong="G5043"\+w*, \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w sins|strong="G0266"\+w* \+w be forgiven|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4671"\+w*.
6 But|strong="G1161" there were|strong="G2258" certain|strong="G5100" of the scribes|strong="G1122" sitting|strong="G2521" there|strong="G1563", and|strong="G2532" reasoning|strong="G1260" in|strong="G1722" their|strong="G0846" hearts|strong="G2588",
7 Why|strong="G5101" doth|strong="G2980" this|strong="G3778" man thus|strong="G3779" speak|strong="G2980" blasphemies|strong="G0988"? who|strong="G5101" can|strong="G1410" forgive|strong="G0863" sins|strong="G0266" but|strong="G3361" God|strong="G2316" only|strong="G1520"?
8 And|strong="G2532" immediately|strong="G2112" when|strong="G1921" Jesus|strong="G2424" perceived|strong="G1921" in|strong="G4151" his|strong="G0846" spirit|strong="G4151" that|strong="G3754" they|strong="G1260" so|strong="G3779" reasoned|strong="G1260" within|strong="G1722" themselves|strong="G1438", he said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Why|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w reason ye|strong="G1260"\+w* \+w these things|strong="G5023"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w hearts|strong="G2588"\+w*?
9 \+w Whether|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w is it|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w easier|strong="G2123"\+w* \+w to say|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w to the sick of the palsy|strong="G3885"\+w*, \+add Thy\+add* \+w sins|strong="G0266"\+w* \+w be forgiven|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4671"\+w*; \+w or|strong="G2228"\+w* \+w to say|strong="G2036"\+w*, \+w Arise|strong="G1453"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w take up|strong="G0142"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w bed|strong="G2895"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w walk|strong="G4043"\+w*?

11 \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto thee|strong="G4671"\+w*, \+w Arise|strong="G1453"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w take up|strong="G0142"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w bed|strong="G2895"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w go thy way|strong="G5217"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w thine|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w house|strong="G3624"\+w*.
12 And|strong="G2532" immediately|strong="G2112" he arose|strong="G1453", took up|strong="G0142" the bed|strong="G2895", and|strong="G2532" went forth|strong="G1831" before|strong="G1726" them all|strong="G3956"; insomuch that|strong="G5620" they were all|strong="G3956" amazed|strong="G1839", and|strong="G2532" glorified|strong="G1392" God|strong="G2316", saying|strong="G3004", We|strong="G1492" never|strong="G3763" saw|strong="G1492" it on this fashion|strong="G3779".
13 And|strong="G2532" he went forth|strong="G1831" again|strong="G3825" by|strong="G3844" the sea side|strong="G2281"; and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" the multitude|strong="G3793" resorted|strong="G2064" unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" he taught|strong="G1321" them|strong="G0846".
14 And|strong="G2532" as he passed by|strong="G3855", he saw|strong="G1492" Levi|strong="G3018" the|strong="G3588" son of Alphæus|strong="G0256" sitting|strong="G2521" at|strong="G1909" the receipt of custom|strong="G5058", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Follow|strong="G0190"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G0190" arose and|strong="G0450" followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
15 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096", that, as|strong="G1722" Jesus|strong="G0846" sat at meat|strong="G2621" in|strong="G1722" his|strong="G0846" house|strong="G3614", many|strong="G4183" publicans|strong="G5057" and|strong="G2532" sinners|strong="G0268" sat|strong="G4873" also|strong="G2532" together|strong="G4873" with Jesus|strong="G2424" and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101": for|strong="G1063" there were|strong="G2258" many|strong="G4183", and|strong="G2532" they followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
16 And|strong="G2532" when the scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330" saw|strong="G1492" him|strong="G0846" eat|strong="G2068" with|strong="G3326" publicans|strong="G5057" and|strong="G2532" sinners|strong="G0268", they said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3101" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101", How is it|strong="G5101" that|strong="G3754" he eateth|strong="G2068" and|strong="G2532" drinketh|strong="G4095" with|strong="G3326" publicans|strong="G5057" and|strong="G2532" sinners|strong="G0268"?
17 When|strong="G0191" Jesus|strong="G2424" heard|strong="G0191" it, he saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w They that are whole|strong="G2480"\+w* \+w have|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w no|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w need|strong="G5532"\+w* \+w of the physician|strong="G2395"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w they that are|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w sick|strong="G2560"\+w*: \+w I came|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w to call|strong="G2564"\+w* \+w the righteous|strong="G1342"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w sinners|strong="G0268"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w repentance|strong="G3341"\+w*.
18 And|strong="G2532" the disciples|strong="G3101" of John|strong="G2491" and|strong="G2532" of the Pharisees|strong="G5330" used|strong="G2258" to fast|strong="G3522": and|strong="G2532" they come|strong="G2064" and|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", Why|strong="G5101" do the disciples|strong="G3101" of John|strong="G2491" and|strong="G2532" of the Pharisees|strong="G5330" fast|strong="G3522", but|strong="G1161" thy|strong="G4674" disciples|strong="G3101" fast|strong="G3522" not|strong="G3756"?
19 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Can|strong="G1410"\+w* \+w the children|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of the bridechamber|strong="G3567"\+w* \+w fast|strong="G3522"\+w*, \+w while|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w the bridegroom|strong="G3566"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w with|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*? \+w as long as|strong="G3745"\+w* \+w they have|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w the bridegroom|strong="G3566"\+w* \+w with|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w them|strong="G1438"\+w*, \+w they can|strong="G1410"\+w*\+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w fast|strong="G3522"\+w*.
20 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w the days|strong="G2250"\+w* \+w will come|strong="G2064"\+w*, \+w when|strong="G3752"\+w* \+w the bridegroom|strong="G3566"\+w* \+w shall be taken away|strong="G0522"\+w* \+w from|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w then|strong="G5119"\+w* \+w shall they fast|strong="G3522"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w those|strong="G1565"\+w* \+w days|strong="G2250"\+w*.
21 \+w No man|strong="G3762"\+w* \+w also|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w seweth|strong="G1976"\+w* \+w a piece|strong="G1915"\+w* \+w of new|strong="G0046"\+w* \+w cloth|strong="G4470"\+w* \+w on|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w an|strong="G2440"\+w* \+w old|strong="G3820"\+w* \+w garment|strong="G2440"\+w*: \+w else|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w the new piece|strong="G2537"\+w* \+w that filled|strong="G4138"\+w* \+w it|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w up|strong="G4138"\+w* \+w taketh away from|strong="G0142"\+w* \+w the old|strong="G3820"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the rent|strong="G4978"\+w* \+w is made|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w worse|strong="G5501"\+w*.
22 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w no man|strong="G3762"\+w* \+w putteth|strong="G0906"\+w* \+w new|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w old|strong="G3820"\+w* \+w bottles|strong="G0779"\+w*: \+w else|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w the|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w new|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w doth burst|strong="G4486"\+w* \+w the bottles|strong="G0779"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w is spilled|strong="G1632"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the bottles|strong="G0779"\+w* \+w will be marred|strong="G0622"\+w*: \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w new|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w must be put|strong="G0992"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w new|strong="G2537"\+w* \+w bottles|strong="G0779"\+w*.
23 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096", that|strong="G3899" he|strong="G0846" went|strong="G3899" through|strong="G1223" the corn fields|strong="G4702" on|strong="G1722" the sabbath day|strong="G4521"; and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" began|strong="G0756", as they went|strong="G3598", to pluck|strong="G5089" the ears of corn|strong="G4719".
24 And|strong="G2532" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" said|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", Behold|strong="G1492", why|strong="G5101" do they|strong="G4160" on|strong="G1722" the sabbath day|strong="G4521" that which|strong="G3739" is|strong="G1832" not|strong="G3756" lawful|strong="G1832"?

26 \+w How|strong="G4459"\+w* \+w he went|strong="G1525"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the house|strong="G3624"\+w* \+w of God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w in the days of|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w Abiathar|strong="G0008"\+w* \+w the high priest|strong="G0749"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w did eat|strong="G5315"\+w* \+w the shewbread|strong="G4286"\+w*, \+w which|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w is|strong="G1832"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w lawful|strong="G1832"\+w* \+w to eat|strong="G5315"\+w* \+w but|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w for the priests|strong="G2409"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w gave|strong="G1325"\+w* \+w also|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w to them which|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w were|strong="G5607"\+w* \+w with|strong="G4862"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*?
27 And|strong="G2532" he said|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w The sabbath|strong="G4521"\+w* \+w was made|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w for|strong="G1223"\+w* \+w man|strong="G0444"\+w*, \+w and not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w for|strong="G1223"\+w* \+w the sabbath|strong="G4521"\+w*:
28 \+w Therefore|strong="G5620"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w Lord|strong="G2962"\+w* \+w also|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w of the sabbath|strong="G4521"\+w*.
