And Moses|strong="H4872" answered|strong="H6030" and said|strong="H0559", But, behold, they will not believe|strong="H0539" me, nor hearken|strong="H8085" unto my voice|strong="H6963": for they will say|strong="H0559", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath not appeared|strong="H7200" unto thee.
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto him, What is that in thine hand|strong="H3027"? And he said|strong="H0559", A rod|strong="H4294".
And he said|strong="H0559", Cast|strong="H7993" it on the ground|strong="H0776". And he cast|strong="H7993" it on the ground|strong="H0776", and it became a serpent|strong="H5175"; and Moses|strong="H4872" fled|strong="H5127" from before|strong="H6440" it.
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Put forth|strong="H7971" thine hand|strong="H3027", and take|strong="H0270" it by the tail|strong="H2180". And he put forth|strong="H7971" his hand|strong="H3027", and caught|strong="H2388" it, and it became a rod|strong="H4294" in his hand|strong="H3709":
That they may believe|strong="H0539" that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of their fathers|strong="H0001", the God|strong="H0430" of Abraham|strong="H0085", the God|strong="H0430" of Isaac|strong="H3327", and the God|strong="H0430" of Jacob|strong="H3290", hath appeared|strong="H7200" unto thee.
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" furthermore|strong="H5750" unto him, Put|strong="H0935" now thine hand|strong="H3027" into thy bosom|strong="H2436". And he put|strong="H0935" his hand|strong="H3027" into his bosom|strong="H2436": and when he took|strong="H3318" it out, behold, his hand|strong="H3027" was leprous|strong="H6879" as snow|strong="H7950".
And he said|strong="H0559", Put|strong="H7725" thine hand|strong="H3027" into thy bosom|strong="H2436" again|strong="H7725". And he put|strong="H7725" his hand|strong="H3027" into his bosom|strong="H2436" again|strong="H7725"; and plucked|strong="H3318" it out of his bosom|strong="H2436", and, behold, it was turned again|strong="H7725" as his other flesh|strong="H1320".
And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe|strong="H0539" thee, neither hearken|strong="H8085" to the voice|strong="H6963" of the first|strong="H7223" sign|strong="H0226", that they will believe|strong="H0539" the voice|strong="H6963" of the latter|strong="H0314" sign|strong="H0226".
And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe|strong="H0539" also these two|strong="H8147" signs|strong="H0226", neither hearken|strong="H8085" unto thy voice|strong="H6963", that thou shalt take|strong="H3947" of the water|strong="H4325" of the river|strong="H2975", and pour|strong="H8210" it upon the dry|strong="H3004" land: and the water|strong="H4325" which thou takest|strong="H3947" out of the river|strong="H2975" shall become blood|strong="H1818" upon the dry|strong="H3006" land.
And Moses|strong="H4872" said|strong="H0559" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, O|strong="H0994" my Lord|strong="H0136", I|strong="H0376" am not eloquent|strong="H1697", neither heretofore|strong="H8032", nor since|strong="H0227" thou hast spoken|strong="H1696" unto thy servant|strong="H5650": but I am slow|strong="H3515" of speech|strong="H6310", and of a slow|strong="H3515" tongue|strong="H3956".
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto him, Who hath made|strong="H7760" man’s|strong="H0120" mouth|strong="H6310"? or who maketh|strong="H7760" the dumb|strong="H0483", or deaf|strong="H2795", or the seeing|strong="H6493", or the blind|strong="H5787"? have not I the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*?
Now therefore go|strong="H3212", and I will be with thy mouth|strong="H6310", and teach|strong="H3384" thee what thou shalt say|strong="H1696".
And he said|strong="H0559", O|strong="H0994" my Lord|strong="H0136", send|strong="H7971", I pray thee, by the hand|strong="H3027" of him whom thou wilt send|strong="H7971".
And the anger|strong="H0639" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* was kindled|strong="H2734" against Moses|strong="H4872", and he said|strong="H0559", Is not Aaron|strong="H0175" the Levite|strong="H3881" thy brother|strong="H0251"? I know|strong="H3045" that he can speak|strong="H1696" well|strong="H1696". And also, behold, he cometh forth|strong="H3318" to meet|strong="H7125" thee: and when he seeth|strong="H7200" thee, he will be glad|strong="H8055" in his heart|strong="H3820".
And thou shalt speak|strong="H1696" unto him, and put|strong="H7760" words|strong="H1697" in his mouth|strong="H6310": and I will be with thy mouth|strong="H6310", and with his mouth|strong="H6310", and will teach|strong="H3384" you what ye shall do|strong="H6213".
And he shall be thy spokesman|strong="H1696" unto the people|strong="H5971": and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth|strong="H6310", and thou shalt be to him instead of God|strong="H0430".
And thou shalt take|strong="H3947" this rod|strong="H4294" in thine hand|strong="H3027", wherewith thou shalt do|strong="H6213" signs|strong="H0226".
And Moses|strong="H4872" went|strong="H3212" and returned|strong="H7725" to Jethro|strong="H3500" his father in law|strong="H2859", and said|strong="H0559" unto him, Let me go|strong="H3212", I pray thee, and return|strong="H7725" unto my brethren|strong="H0251" which are in Egypt|strong="H4714", and see|strong="H7200" whether they be yet|strong="H5750" alive|strong="H2416". And Jethro|strong="H3503" said|strong="H0559" to Moses|strong="H4872", Go|strong="H3212" in peace|strong="H7965".
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872" in Midian|strong="H4080", Go|strong="H3212", return|strong="H7725" into Egypt|strong="H4714": for all the men|strong="H0582" are dead|strong="H4191" which sought|strong="H1245" thy life|strong="H5315".
And Moses|strong="H4872" took|strong="H3947" his wife|strong="H0802" and his sons|strong="H1121", and set|strong="H7392" them upon an ass|strong="H2543", and he returned|strong="H7725" to the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714": and Moses|strong="H4872" took|strong="H3947" the rod|strong="H4294" of God|strong="H0430" in his hand|strong="H3027".
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", When thou goest|strong="H3212" to return|strong="H7725" into Egypt|strong="H4714", see|strong="H7200" that thou do|strong="H6213" all those wonders|strong="H4159" before|strong="H6440" Pharaoh|strong="H6547", which I have put|strong="H7760" in thine hand|strong="H3027": but I will harden|strong="H2388" his heart|strong="H3820", that he shall not let the people|strong="H5971" go|strong="H7971".
And thou shalt say|strong="H0559" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, Israel|strong="H3478" is my son|strong="H1121", even my firstborn|strong="H1060":
And I say|strong="H0559" unto thee, Let my son|strong="H1121" go|strong="H7971", that he may serve|strong="H5647" me: and if thou refuse|strong="H3985" to let him go|strong="H7971", behold, I will slay|strong="H2026" thy son|strong="H1121", even thy firstborn|strong="H1060".
And it came to pass by the way|strong="H1870" in the inn|strong="H4411", that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* met|strong="H6298" him, and sought|strong="H1245" to kill|strong="H4191" him.
Then Zipporah|strong="H6855" took|strong="H3947" a sharp stone|strong="H6864", and cut off|strong="H3772" the foreskin|strong="H6190" of her son|strong="H1121", and cast|strong="H5060" it at his feet|strong="H7272", and said|strong="H0559", Surely a bloody|strong="H1818" husband|strong="H2860" art thou to me.
So he let him go|strong="H7503": then she said|strong="H0559", A bloody|strong="H1818" husband|strong="H2860" thou art, because of the circumcision|strong="H4139".
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" to Aaron|strong="H0175", Go|strong="H3212" into the wilderness|strong="H4057" to meet|strong="H7125" Moses|strong="H4872". And he went|strong="H3212", and met|strong="H6298" him in the mount|strong="H2022" of God|strong="H0430", and kissed|strong="H5401" him.
And Moses|strong="H4872" told|strong="H5046" Aaron|strong="H0175" all the words|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* who had sent|strong="H7971" him, and all the signs|strong="H0226" which he had commanded|strong="H6680" him.
And Moses|strong="H4872" and Aaron|strong="H0175" went|strong="H3212" and gathered together|strong="H0622" all the elders|strong="H2205" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478":
And Aaron|strong="H0175" spake|strong="H1696" all the words|strong="H1697" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had spoken|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", and did|strong="H6213" the signs|strong="H0226" in the sight|strong="H5869" of the people|strong="H5971".
And the people|strong="H5971" believed|strong="H0539": and when they heard|strong="H8085" that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had visited|strong="H6485" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", and that he had looked|strong="H7200" upon their affliction|strong="H6040", then they bowed their heads|strong="H6915" and worshipped|strong="H7812".
